Hello Guys,

I was formerly a contract staff working with ECO Bank Plc until I was relieve of my job duties in February. I have worked for good 8 years without any issue but was thrown out as a piece of thrash.

My challenge is that other of my colleagues that left before me through the same manner was given their entitlement through the company that outsourced for ECO Bank in the space of 2 to 3 weeks. After a form is filled, their account is credited but this company refused to make payment after ECO Bank has paid my little entitlement to them.

Please house advice me on the legal step to follow In other to get my dues remitted back. I am a Family Man with wife and Children to Take care of. More so I suffered and worked with ECO Bank Plc for 8 years and cannot be left out just like that.

Report them to Human Rights nd allow them intercede first...

Report them to nearest public complaint commission. They will do the investigation free of charge

I understand, times are hard and a man has to survive. What I don't understand is despite your awareness on how insecure your job is, the office discrimination and what come may, you refused to make a plan B or secure a better job within the space of 8 solid years. I don't get it.

Is better you move on because if you want to take legal step now, you still need to spend money and I know those bank don't pay much money when the contract staff left. A friend of mine that resigned at access bank was paid just 12k by Icsl, though I don't know what the bank paid to Icsl but trust me, it won't be much because of the discrimination..... A core staff get nothing less than a million of naira when they ask them to go....so why spending another money becos of this stipend... there is no lawyer you will meet now that will not collet money except if it's from your family....the pay for the contract staff are too poor
