Just pray these things don't happen because you won't be able to come to NL to air your view. If the President didn't go to Ogoniland as planned before now because of the threat devoid of any excuse the government might give then we should all be scared. Bros, your head dey there. Our selfishness refused to let us put ourselves in their shoes, as most people here are only concerned about having oil loot, sorry oil money from Niger Delta to share across the country. The good of that region is inconsequential.

That's human nature for you and greed. And it always counter-productive on the long run. It's how a lot of folks would rather scrounge for meagre handouts - rather than get a job and earn far more, while improving their self-development in the process. Everyone wants to share the oil proceeds from that region and despite sharing it for over four decades at the expense of the owners, the whole country has stagnated for over four decades, with no developments whatsoever, while raising two generations of lazy people/thinkers. So what is the point? If they had done the right thing from the get-go - other places would have found ways to create wealth and the country's economy would be far more diversified right now due to the competitive nature of human beings.

You don't even have to turn every oil producing state into Abuja or maybe even Lagos...just target the oil producing communities in each state and make the host communities sharing their wealth with you happy. Itsekiris in Delta for example can be more than 500,000 in population and they produce a large percentage of the oil and gas in that state...it shouldn't be that difficult to fix that meagre population and their communities. Replicate the same thing in all oil producing communities in all the other states and make them happy. Once you do that - they won't complain that much. I believe those who are even benefiting the most from whatever meagre derivative they are giving them now are people who happen to be from the same state but don't even produce one drop of oil in their communities.

They just need to keep hoping these people don't discover the IRA tactics in guerrilla warfare cos if they ever do, Abuja won't be safe for the naij president. IRA put fear in everyone when they were around with their brazen bombings. They will tell you before hand that they will bomb a place in London and give the time and, the bomb will go off at the time they gave. Let me educate you. There is a big difference between blowing up a pipe in the middle of nowhere and arming up a shoulder held SAM. Clue. Any SAM emits it's own radar signature/ trace for a period of time. Meanwhile these are in the air waiting for a sniff.

My appeal to the Niger Delta Avengers is to think deep about the consequences of their ill advised actions. You may think you are fighting President Muhammadu Buhari but all Nigerians know that you are fighting them including your own people - fellow Niger Deltans. You continue to blow up pipelines as if you and your people would not partake in the sufferings that would follow as a result of lean income this will translate into for FGN. Don't you know that 13% Derivation which your region enjoys would equally be affected with the consequent pauperization of your people? Nigerian nation has tried to pacify your region in numerous ways through the establishment of Niger Delta Commission, Amnesty Programme, Niger Delta Ministry etc. yet you are never satisfied and like Oliver Twist, you want more and more instead of holding your leaders accountable for the huge fund channeled to that region alone over the years, which of course, corruption has made nonsense of.
Maybe you don't know - real war which you are clamouring for is different from war movies! Ask those who witnessed/experienced kwasiokor, abandon properties etc. during Biafra Civil War and you would know its not a tea party affair. And to you the disgruntled elements who are fueling & sponsoring this crisis, please stop this nonsense before it consumes you; if it is because of lost election, take solace in the fact that PMB was elected for only four years and even one year is gone already as another opportunity would still present itself for you to realise your political ambition.
