I thought someone said; our crude production rose to about 1.4m per barrel per day.

And we always use 3 days to fix it.

Why the sudden complain of recession stories...

it seems you live in dreamland. so what are the sources of our foreign exchange? by the time dollar started exchanging $1=#1000 I will see how your blodas will be able to market their hyper expensive goods. Keep cutting your nose to spite your face.

the Boko Haram is Terrorist groomed under the noise of northerners , even had the support of some of them, boko haram suddenly became weak when Buhari won election, very funny

now look at it this way

Northerners owing 80% of something that belong to the Niger Delta People

still Niger Delta Oil money will be used to rebuild the North East, they even have NEDCommision

and you want them to be smilling and remain to slave to the northerners

Resource Control is the way forward, with that, the North we learn to educate their people and keep their manhood in their pant and stop giving birth like rats to win election

grin grin grin

Honestly, they want to leave Nigeria. Let them go. This isn't going to end anytime soon.

The best bet would've been restructuring Nigeria. The North must bend.

It seems i am arguing with a minor! Who cares if the government is not able to get forex? In the last one year of this administration, business owners and manufacturers have been pushed beyond limits in accessing forex. They are now on their own now as it concerns sourcing forex, so spare me that bull shit about government not being able to get forex as a disadvantage to private business owners.

federal government should look into other source of revenue..countries without oil are still surviving.... for God sake you have exploited these people for over 50years now and yet you still call them minority... you don't want them in power... you want to rule them and exploit their lands... that is clear oppression... the Yoruba and Hausa and the middle belt conspired to remove Jonathan.... and you call it democracy; the highest votes take the day.leave the land of the Niger delta alone... in fact we don't want any oil exploration in our lands anymore... we want to farm on them.we want to fish on our waters.. no more drilling on our waters. we say no to daylight oppression. since you don't want us in power. don't also expliot our lands

When o hear people make their opinions public I wonder how we reason in crises periods.what we say most often makes things worse. Reasonability is the base of tall walls of success that turns into wonders of the world. Let's us stop calling names and dishing blames. Let us come together as a nation and get things work for us. This, without the born to rule mentality.

Too many things happening at the same time in this country.

The bombings of pipelines had made a popular enamelware factory in lagos to sack over 200 of its staff last month due to no gas supply from their main supplier in the Niger delta region.
so no gas in lagos apart from niger delta supplying them?

The truth about the current situation is that things will never change until we change our mentality. I could remember the rate at which some fools are praising NDA for the bombing of oil installations. what I know is that government will never fold her arms and allow things to degenerate totally. Its fire for fire. Boko Haram issue is small thing compare to what will happen in Niger Delta. And it will be too bad for the region to go beyond repair. Let's join hands together to save this country. NDA are just after their own benefit, people like tompolo, asari etals know where their bread is being buttered. I know that some fools will still quote me but u can't stop the truth.
Why say they are just after their pockets, have you forgotten so soon how they turn down FG invitation for dialogue, demanding for sovereign state and not pipeline contract.

Re: Nigeria Bleeds As Pipeline Bombings, Vandalism Wreaks Economy by akpama87(m): 10:19am On Jun 04, 2016
Even though I have aversion to violence, criminality, sabotage, censure (or anything fraught with negative consequences), I develop disapproval of some remarks and reactions to the NDA activities by some people in authority.

I am sometimes tempted to ask if their positions make them forget things easily. Let us remember that oil spills in Ogoniland did not start today. Since 1970, Ogoni had begun to bear the brunt of oil spillage. Guess the amount of damages the land has suffered from that time till now. Unfortunately, such a land which feeds the economy of Nigeria receives the worst form of neglect.

As the Acting Director-General (MASECA), Mr Jacob Ovweghre, has opined, it is good to seek intellectual redress for this abysmal neglect within the ambit of the law, but I could draw his attention to this exposé.

In the early 1990s, Ogoni people demonstrated a non-violent opposition to the oil companies over the
contamination of their land and lack of financial benefit from the oil revenues. Then, in 1995, Ogoni author and campaigner, Ken Saro-Wiwa, and eight other tribal leaders were charged with incitement to murder and executed by Nigeria's military government.

It is glaring that the Nigerian government wants to keep Ogoni people in perpetual misery, destitution, underdevelopment, while it continues to sap their land of its fecundity.

The people once sought intellectual redress for their problems, but the government thwarted their efforts by killing their leaders. After several years of endurance, and seeing that the government is still insouciant, the people now resort to violence, and government says NO.

What else does the government want from the people it has plunged into such mess (or rather mesh)?
