I am a Catholic but I do received the JW warmly like am receiving Christ, I am not dogmatic I tolerate and respect other people's beliefs and religious practices, even if a Muslim, or a Hinduist or a Buddhist come to preach to me, I would gladly listen . I can decide which of the teachings I want to agree with. #Peace

Truth is, despite their shortcomings, I love their style. If u tell a Witness to use only 5minutes to tell u whatever he has to say, he'll round-up in 3-4minutes! They're very efficient and time conscious!
By the way...I LOVE Awake!, a lot!!!

Are they really Christians? Do they believe in everything that you believe in? Do they believe that Jesus Christ is lord or just a prophet? One who came to deliver a message to mankind, thereby making him a messenger.
They have contradictory views so I don't let them preach to me.

Are they really Christians? Do they believe in everything that you believe in? Do they believe that Jesus Christ is lord or just a prophet? One who came to deliver a message to mankind, thereby making him a messenger.

If I am not too busy, we get to chat. I have done so for a long time.

At least most JWs actually try to do what they preach and not pre-occupied with wealth, money, status etc.

The closest to the simplicity Jesus preached.

I have visited their convention, and KH many times, never dropped a penny & nobody bothered me or looked down on me for it.

At a difficult point in my life that came out of the blue, faraway from home, with no family, only a JW couple unfailingly came to see me. Even when initially I could hardly recognise they were around. They encouraged and helped go through it. Other so-called "Christian friends" hardly bothered.

I will never forget that.

But once ipon a time I almost strangled them. I had all my exams in a week, attended a party the night of the last the exam. I got home in the early hours of the next day and slept off. Then I heard a knock, I ignored it but the id.iot kept knocking. I opened the door expecting to see the mailman only to find two JWs. When I registered who they were, they stepped back in fear.

They shouldn't go around in the morning. It is very annoying. They should make it an afternoon or evening affair.
