I guess u r picking and unfolding events of the past in a random and disjointed ways, literally combining a lot, it kind of make it look cumbersome and hard to make out. Why not pick one and narrate it comprehensibly then another.

hmmmm....one thing with intelligent people-couple, thats how a neighbour of mine usually have intellectual arguement with his wife, very intelligent a woman, always breaking her pionts with facts and figures. Such an awe family i do say.
