Should i ask for justice by blowing up your family shop? When people are sacked in hundreds, and states can't pay salaries due to poor revenue caused by NDA, who will ask for justice. When folks need to spend more on fuel, and people die in hosptals because there's no light like before, who will answer?

The proposed university was cancelled on good and logical reasons. Goodluck jonathan deserves a place in prison and in hell for putting this country through much trouble. He had over 5years to build a Maritime University but never built one. He only approved the so called University about a week to his exit. Why should such enormous burden be placed on another government? It is akin to a mischievous driver telling you to collect change and many goodies from someone else that knows nothing about your arrangement, even worse.

You can read this May 21, 2015 news showing that Goodluck Jonathan just signed/approved the Maritime University few days before handing over power to Buhari. He created the problem on ground. You approve NMU the first of its kind not only in Nigeria, but in the sub-Saharan Africa few days before leaving, promising Niger Delta folks heaven and paradise. You never did anything substantial for five years, but you are telling the gullible fellows that "see, i have signed oh, all that remains is for them to build." Anybody can sign anything. i can as well sign for 10 refineries before the year end, or the defeat of all militants and terrorists. FEC can approve all that, that is all talk. That is very unfair and at best a dream. When operational, the institution will offer specialised maritime-related courses like Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, Nautical Science, Transport Technology and other courses relevant in the marine industry. It is like offering and promising to build Heathrow airport and disappearing.
Why did the government cancel/postpone it? One there is no money for such a huge project at the moment. Two, it is laced with so much fraud. How can 17billion naira already be spent on the project and all we can see is one uncompleted building? This is a school YET TO take off. 17billion naira to get two hectares of land in Kurutie. Such fraud is crazy and criminal. Even world class universities in Europe and America do not cost up to 17billion naira. As at the time this money was spent, even using exchange ratew of 220/$ is $77million to buy land. How much will it cost to build and buy equipment? The feasibility studies had already been carried out. The probe was by by the Federal Ministry of Transport, long before Ameachi became minister. The link is there in case you do not know before. Ameachi simply did the responsible and rational thing. That's a patriot decision. Ameachi announced this before the Senate when defending budget or so in January. It is indeed a misplacement of priority and a waste of resources. This decision is what the Warri Avengers and their sponsors are holding unto to scatter the country and sabotage its economy. It is criminal, and these political sponsors who shared 17billion and are expecting more from the project should be brought to book.
