I would like to buy the Ntel 4g simcard but I don't know if it would work with the regular modems or if it has a particular modem that it normally works with, I would also like to know if Ntel 4g coverage is in the Alimosho area of Lagos.

I have a spare smile 4G modem (Franklin 4g modem) but I don't know how / where to unlock it. I took the modem to computer village but the techies there still couldn't unlock it.

Just look for a modem that is lte FDD.

Being an FDD modem is not enough. It must support Specific FDD bands, which are band 3(1800) or/and 8(900). My point is, not all FDD modems, MIFIs or Routers support the above listed bands.
