anybody commenting should calculate how many years will it take you to afford $20 million worth of property. then list how many people in the developed country who worked in the same position as hers can afford that

The market women in Bodija market(Ibadan) sweat for those things they wear. They dont have corruption charges on their backs, they were not oil ministers when oil sold for the highest and money started growing wings.

Do not insult Ibadan women, they might sound/look razz but they have honor and pride in not having their names smeared in thievery.

Madam, they wear gold yes, but they also have honor.

Who says that, do you know how much off shore workers take home. We are not even talking about her husband's wealth. Moreso, do you think she had no investment that increased her earning capacity all those years of working outside Jonathan's government?
Is time we change of mentality of people who has money and are privileged to serve the nation.
If you believe they stole while in office, why no prosecute them properly than inciting the citizenry against them to score cheap popularity.
But she has a fraud case in d UK?

So all this experiences she quoted here are with nothing, how many places did she said she had worked?,enumerate them yourself and tell me
My friend,of you have the kind of education she had,20million dollars will not be enough jarri, for example, how much do you think a whole semester costs at the university she mentioned?how much do you think all her education would have cost,is it not worth more than the 20million they said her house is worth,I hate this country for lack of cohesion,,,,,before you remove what is in another man eye,be warned!

Don't mind the mofos. An executive director of a bank can buy all those things she has without any hassle. Those poor rats don't know how an executive director earn in Shell. Contract staff in she'll who have worked for that long can even buy those jewelry. Is not only now that a dollar is 300 naira? Remember most of those jewelry were bought when a dollar was around 50 naira. Tell Nigerians to wake up from slumber . Poverty is really a huge disease.

So is Diezani that mentioned the word "Bodija market" APC I'm really sorry for you guys any sane man that fell for this nonsense is a fool and that person will die as a fool. I realized APC always cooked up stories the moment people started bashing them with their failure and just cooked up a story to divert people attention and some fools the moment they hear dollar in million water started coming out of their anus and started shouting pls can't you think or reason, so Diezani will wrote this kind of letter please for what and she will mention Bodija please how and what is the connection of Bodija to her and what the report said It's like someone says buhari mention king market in Akure or Aswani market in Lagos pls how

By the way let the poster of this thread drop the proof of where did she wrote this letter Who was their with her When did her media whatever compiled this letter And tell us the time it was written and show us the hard copy of this letter if nothing to show then you have no case just give us a breathing space ok.

As a matter of fact I don't care if she stole trillion any longer, NIGERIA VOTED FOR PEOPLE THEY ASSUMED WILL TURN THINGS AROUND BUT SO DISGRACEFUL THEY ENDS UP VOTING LOOTERS CATCHER AND THAT IS ALL THE REMAINING IMPORTANT ISSUES ARE BURIED ONLY TO WAKE UP AND BE CATCHING AND CATCHING TILL 2019, Nigerians should have voted for Inspector General of Police if they had realized the man in power is coming to catch looters alone and every other things are not important..

Ibe Kachikwu told us how much he was losing by giving up his Mobil job to serve as petroleum minister.  If Kachikwu earned so much in Mobil, why should Alison Madueke not have earned much from her years with Shell, especially as an executive director? I have friends in Shell who are not yet near the top, and they can afford to live in nice houses and send their kids to school abroad.

it's seems far-fetched that any one who has been a director in Shell since 2007 (the richest oil company globally) can't afford such assets !
I find the Nigerian penchant for besmirching people without critical thinking rather funny.
Please Nigerians let's learn to think before following the pack mentality.
Someone should tell us what is the take home of a director in Shell bonuses + allowances and the yearly housing , I know from a friend that directors are paid in forex.
A nairalanders here actually told me she was a director for only one year which has been proven to be false so please lets stick to facts and resist the lust to just blurt out comments

No matter how rich she maybe or the amount she earns in a year, she can earn up $18 million dollars in 6years, fact.

It is when she became Minister of petroleum that her wealth sky rocketed like mount everest.

I wonder why the Federal Government is disturbing this lady but choose to associate with corrupt individuals like Tinubu, Fashola, IBB, Abacha's family, Abdusalami, Atiku, Amechi etc.

A woman who's been a Minister up to 3 times and has also held a lot of positions in both Private and Public oil sector nationally and internationally is not expected to be poor.

Exaggerating the worth of her properties and jewellery won't help either.

By the way when is the Federal Government going to probe the numerous criminals in APC?

Nicely said. To be realistic, that woman has honestly earned up to #7 billion naira. One billion as a Shell Staff and 6 billion as a three time minister. With investment She will be worth #14 billion at the least.

Let UK deal with that. We should stop following government like imbeciles. Its time we begin to use our head. Enough of this crowd movement.

Just imagine that we have been condemning these EFCC media trails, don't you think we would have seen more convictions? But they quote billions arbitrarily and we jubilate chanting corruption corruption. After the chant what again.

It is disheartening to see educated citizens of this great nation having their developed brains being used to drink peppersoup by a less educated class of people who call themselves politicians.

We should start thinking and stop celebrating mediocrity in the pretense of fighting corruption.

Taking 1$ = 200 For Minimum
$2m * 200 = #200,000,000
$17m * 200 = #3,400,000,000
Lets Say She Has Been Working For 10years Now And Her Salary Was #2million I No No How Much Them Day Pay Minister
That Is=
2000000*360*10=#7,200,000,000
That's 7.2 Billion Naira For 10years And Am Sure She Has More Than This In He Account

It pains me that Journalism has recently bn poorly done.

So, are they trying to say that someone who has worked in Shell at its apex level, served in various government as minister and also someone from a rich home can't afford those properties?

Meanwhile, our Vice President owns a house abroad and has over hundreds of thousand of pounds and dollars in his account (according to his asset declaration form? and no one is talking about it cuz his is a SAN and as a SAN he can afford it but Diezani who has worked for shell, Nigeria and other firms can't huh?

I must say our journalist or whatever they call themselves at EFCC are shallow minded.

If we are talking hundreds of thousands we might understand but this is 20 million dollars in assets just in Abuja alone. I'm sure she has a lot more stashed away all across the globe. The question is how did she come about such assets only after she started working as a minister? She never bought an 18 million dollar house during her one year as a director in Shell but once she gets into government she can now afford such. Please which pays more legitimately, Shell executive director job or Minister of Fed Rep of Nigeria job?

Maybe you have forgotten Lie Mohd just told you they have fulfilled their promise of job creation, is that also true? Stop believing what proven Liars say. APc govt is all lies and propaganda.

Well I might not be a fan of this woman, but let's for once accord the due respect to this hardworking woman. I believe so much that her hardwork earned her the national call to serve under the Yardua's government. She did what most previous ministers of petroleum couldn't achieve by striking deals amongst both the local and international players to ensure the smooth sales of our crude and stability of refined products at a regulated price. The petrol price was so stable and available throughout her reign. Against all odds I've never been a fan of hers but i'm beginning to admire her strong character while in office and thereafter.

Hard work is not the subject matter.

Murderers, Robbers, Con men all engage in hard work. And there are many evil people out there that work harder than you can imagine, but one fact about them remains - whether they are found guilty by the courts or not...whether they are caught or not...THEY ARE CRIMINALS
