Do you support the Gender equality bill or as I put it, the Gender equity bill. If yes why? And if no, state reasons.

MissGdope:
1. I definitely won't be disappearing from nairaland anytime soon. I find it kinda addictive. We are living in an age where technology and social media has become part of everyone's life. If I won, I would talk to the forum founder on ways to promote the forum on social media in order to attract more interest.

2. I would change the constant tribal and religious hatred. Its so annoying and sometimes painful to watch.

3 . uhhhh I sincerely don't have one tho lol

4. I'm not Igbo so I don't know what "I miss you in Igbo" is
You are free to crush me, I won't take offense lol ... kiss embarassed

You guys said you won't allow your man test-run you before you marry him

Would you still be with him, even if you love him but his se.x game aint strong?

What makes you fall for a guy, as in really have feelings for him?

Thank you. God bless Nairaland.[/color]

I wouldn't actually say yes or No...

because Women are of different characters... and you and I know..

So bringing in the gender equality bill, can be quite dicey..

But in the end, according to the author of Animal farm,.... all Animals are equal, but some are more equal than others...

Even though I support the gender equality bill, but it wouldn't solve the present situations and discrimination that we ladies and women in general face... Trust Me!!

Thanks...

OK, maybe I should restructure the question.
If you support the Gender equality bill, what do you propose the Nigerian government do in the implementation of the bill if it is finally passed and becomes a law.
Cc. Refiner
Krystalklear
The government should put policies in place to make sure that the legislation is enforced in schools and workplaces as these are places where gender equality can be a problem. There should be equal opportunities for male and female students and no one should be denied a job just because of their gender.
These policies should ensure that any person who feels that they have not been treated equally due to their gender, should be able to report the offenders and something be done about it

What I want to study is not directly proportional to my dreams of being a business mogul...

But remember, we are all sales men...

So even if I study Accounting today, it can be applied to my business...

Thanks
REFINER ANOTHER QUESTION. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AT, ten years from now?

MissGdope:
xvii. I have actually entered this contest with an open mind and have tried my best not to be competitive. I just do what I have to do (take picture, answer questions etc) and try to leave a good impression on nairalanders as it is their vote that will count at the end of the day. So I don't view anyone as a threat, neither do I think I'm a threat to anyone. All the contestants are pretty and may the best girl win!

xviii. I should be Miss nairaland because I am nice, personable, friendly and down-to-earth and I think its important for Miss Nairaland to possess these qualities

xix. I wouldn't allow a man to "test run" me before marriage LOL. Firstly because I'm a Christian and sex before marriage is a sin. Second reason is because its against my values. I think that its about trust and personal preference. If people want to "test run" then its their choice and its no one's place to judge

xx. Gender equality is important, especially in legislation. This is because, if the bill was passed, more girls will be optimistic about education as they will have assurance that they won't be looked down on as a result of their gender. Nobody chooses their gender so why put a certain gender at a lower level than another? There is no proof that men are more intelligent than women, and who's to say that the scientist who finds a cure for cancer won't be a female? Yes I think there should be gender equality and there should also be mutual respect from both genders
Absolutely fab response, completely in sync with intelligent responses from Mimzy & Ivyy!

Refiner! MissGdope! Kyrstalklear!

If you win Miss Nairaland, what and what will you do to carry the forum along? How sure are we that once you win, you won't carry the crown and disappear? huh

2. If you can change something on nairaland, what will it be?

3. Who is your nairaland crush? (Don't say no one undecided)

4. What is "I miss you" in igbo?
In line with my agenda, the money is not mine for the taking... it will still go back to

3 the forum... I have seen alot of people who come here seeking for help, and I helped some and wish I could help the larger populace...

So I have agendas and dreams for the forum.

2) I will love us to have a Nairaland court, where banned people can appeal and seek redress... and maybe, claim damages... lol.

3) Onstelly is my Crush... Trust me...

4) Hahahahahaha... Babe, I can say that ooo... Quite difficult...
