Its what some mamas here who have delivered recommended o. They've mentioned it so many times on this thread. It worked for most of them and i dont think it is unsafe sha becos its what most pple eat on a normal day.

I dont know about the cough mixture but the other ones are okay. The augumentine will treat the infection from your blood and stop the cough. The pregnacare is necessary and the calcium was given to you cus pregnacare plus doesnt have calcium.
You can try my style, use eba and soup to take them. Roll them one by one inside eba and soup and swallow. Make sure the eba and soup is not hot sha.
Another option is to use tea or milk to swallow them. That way you wont feel the taste. Pele. Just try and take them and make sure you finish it to the very last dose so it'll be properly treated.

Not all pregnacare has calcium. Pregnacare Max has calcium but Pregnacare Plus doesn't. So most mamas buy calcium tabs and add to it

From the little i know dear, it might and might not increase your baby weight. And not every big baby gives a tear. It depends on the size of your pelvis. If its wide enough for baby's head to go thru, you'll have no tear. Sometimes, an episiotomy is inevitable so just keep your mind crossed dear. The most important thing is for your sweet little baby to come out safely

I am also so scared.
Finger penetration is a big deal belente rod.... o Then now head of baby? If it's pelvis. I have a wide one but the entrance to hoohaa is very tiny

@Kotia003, to me it's a no. If don't take milo and you eat so much garri, pounded yam, fufu, and all of the carbs what will be the outcome? Isn't same sugar? Let all be done in moderation. Make sure you eat balance diet. Take your milo with milk but in moderation.

Milk is good as it makes baby skin smooth, increases pcv, good source of calcium, etc. I don't do away with milo, as a matter of fact I drink milk every three three days. I was with twins and they were not big at birth.


@Mumtins, I only did ebf for one month. Their paediatrician advised I start them on formula as I couldn't meet their demand. My boy will suck and suck and I will become weak, the girl too when she start I go just dey shout. I started by giving them once a day.

Am happy I took the advise cos when I eat I no say I eat, unlike before the more I eat the more I shout 'am hungry'.

They have really added now and people hadly believe they are not three months yet.

Personally, I eat anythingand everything....in moderation.
No Sunday went without my milo + milk on the rocks....about 2L of it....every Sunday.
I had a 3.1kg baby ( not big at all) with tear + episiotomy.
That was my 2nd child but the first one via my jajaina.
Countless women have had bigger babies with no single tear.
I used to be so scared of tear o! Running round this thread shouting "my yansh o!" Lol!
It came and healed in a week.
Even when I was cut, it was sharp and brief.
I honestly believe he wouldnt have cut me if I had been calm earlier on in the labour room cos he hesitated with the scissors but calm and I parted ways the minute I was on 7cm , by the time I was 10cm for up to 2hours?! I murdered calm .

Find calm and maybe you can escape the scissors.

I personally feel you can eat all you want in moderation..its not like you are not burning off the energy..all the sugars are converted to energy. So the sugar is used up via the activities you do.that is why it is advised to take walks at least for 30mins everyday so you don't live a sedentary lifestyle of eating, and sleeping.
I don't drink milo...I lick it..i mix milo, nd milk and take it with pap..very creamy..
A big baby is major based on genetics..little I believe comes from what u eat..
Fawqiyyah weighed 3.5kg but I could go the whole day with just cornflakes and shortbread..i used to eat short bread as lunch..i was a junkie but I never joked with my fruits..
So I will suggest u eat what u crave for so far it's safe but in moderation. And don't forget that bodies differ..what works for mummy A might not for mummy B..

beverages like milo does not always make ür baby big, big baby does not dépend on what û eat alone but also on genetics. I Will say eat anything û like. and want in moderation. Concerning d tear not all big baby gîve tear it dépend on ür pelvic and d knowledge of d midwife. When i had my first baby he was 3.5kg and i had tear in two Places, but some mum Will deliver a 4kg baby without tear.

as for the tears, most first time mums are usually given episiotomy because its the first time and their vagina isnt well stretched and to also prevent the baby from tearing you. .but some experienced midwives can deliver a first timrr without giving it..
as ma'am zaynie said you not getting torn by your baby major depends on how CALM you can be when you can be when you get to the transition stage of labour.. thats from 7cm..
that is the stage most mamas lose it cos the contractions come non stop and are very intense..at that stage, you are required to listen to instructions and adhere carefully. .to avoid tears
but u see ehen! FOR ME, CALM AND ADHERENCE OF INSTRUCTIONS DEY INSIDE UNILAG LAGOON AT THAT STAGE..
