Fundamental events like BREXIT are event not to be taken lightly, there is always a bias prior to the event, work with it. @prettyboey I used to be like you, I was profitable, the moment I started paying attention to news feeds that was when I began to have drawdown almost to the point of a margin call, then I resolved to work with the action of price and since I recovered from stress and drawdown with profits. When fundamental data is released, you can only be wrong once if the data released is against your trade...I now pay attention to fundamentals concerning interest rate.

MY SUGESTIONS
priceaction:
Everybody should be very careful on many pairs from tomorrow especially GBP pairs because of next week Thursday voting. It is a well-known rule in fx that markets dislike uncertainty. The June 23 referendum whether or not Britain should remain in the European Union, represents a major risk event in itself. My candid advice is that you should reduce your lots and risk reward in every trade . This is the time brokers wipe account off. Last years chf pairs still on our minds that bankrupt many brokers and traders wc many pairs jump over 1500pips in few minutes and jumped pass majority of stop losses and wiped majority of open trades in that event.

I am saying this because many traders here are on higher time frame. If you can stay off markets from probably Friday and watch events on demo trading, the better. Don't trade blindly. Expect many retracements and uncertainty .Just be safe. One of my brokers have started the show already warning me to have enough fund to maintain my positions from weekend because they will force reduce leverage any moment from now because of uncertainty. Be wise. Better to trade a day after that events for correlation. Cheers.

Markets is always all about uncertainties , you just have to find a way of trading its chaotic nature.. grin grin
HOPE YOU HAVE LEARNT A LITTLE BIT OF LESSONS. FOR NOW, I THINK THE BEST THING TO DO IS TOTALLY REDUCE LOT SIZE IF YOU ARE COMPLEL TO TRADE YOUR SIGNALS.
I LEFT MY GBPUSD BUY YESTERDAY AND MY LAPTOP WAS DOWN, I COULDNT CLOSE IT, I RAN INTO LOSS ALSO. FX IS CHAOTIC IN NATURE. I AM BEGINING TO STUDY AND LEAVE FX FOR A SINGLE INDICIES PAIR, WHICH IS GER30. THANKS TO JOREL1 AND JLINE. IT IS MORE PROFITABLE AND PRIDICTABLE THAN SPOT FX THOUGH HIGHER MARGIN. IT IS MAKING SENSE SINCE YESTERDAY.

Buying the pound,
Letting go of the GBPCHF buy now (+120pts) because I don't understand what my broker means by

"Further to this, we would like to inform you, that the weekend market opening (20th of June 2016), of GBP pairs might be delayed until spreads and market depth is at an adequate level."

Better safe than sorry grin grin grin.

As for USDCAD I just observe from one side. After 2 tp hit anyway if not I may have been sweating by now huh huh

hmm I feel you. I trade lowest daily tf. and it seems you do so too. but I trade one pair at a time.

I don't have the mind yet to trade 2 at a time not to talk of 5, 6 or 10. what's your philosophy about your trading style.

Actually, all the trades you see here including the USDJPY i closed on thursday with 1100 pips , I gave all the calls here in phases. I dont know, but the signals were just there cheesy cheesy and too sweet and I just had to take them..

I always advocate for traders to not open more than 2 or 3 trades at a time and I sticked with this rule despite what you see here , The first trade was in more than 100 pips before entering another trade , when all two were in reasonable positive pips then I saw new signals which I took , If I remember right I got about 3 or 4 signals each week and I didn't even know how I got to 18 open positions today grin grin
I never used a stop loss for initiating trades, I only close manually when i dont like what i see and because I know market wouldn't move more than x pips within a day , at least rarely.
One major reason this was made possible is because of the fact GBP was losing strength across board creating a one way momentum. ( its a risk aversion sentiment ).but dont try this on a normal market condition when currencies strength correlation isn't clear since the strength of one currency driving a pair north could be a hindrance to the south movement of another pair containing that currency.

These were very easy trades, micro account , nano account or standard account all is the same depending on how you manipulate your position sizing in proportion. I dont even know why people pay too much attention to the kind of account , this is irrelevant, the most important thing is to make money with the account that suits you.. or is there some ego or pride to trading a particular kind of account.. The truth is that I dont even know what kind of account I have grin grin I just know I need x$ per pip and thats all. grin grin
unlike stocks , the secrets to making it in FOREX is when you win , try to win big so that when you lose it wont matter much ... there is no other way else you are only trading a merrygo round , you win and give back .

You can open your Forex factory calendar to see the most relevant news capable of moving the market that month and just capitalize on that currency and wait patiently like a lion when the signal comes in within the month you take the opportunity and sell or buy the rumor until the news day.

that's a good one I must confess. personally I don't even consider news except for bigger ones like Brexit or nfp. thanks for your heads up.

The Pound is Rising because U.K. Suspended Campaigns on EU Vote due to death of its MP advocator to remain in EU who was shot....
GBP has been reacting to BREXIT related news and event lately... once the campaign resumes and there is an online poll about BREXIT leave camp leading only IF , expect to see sellers come back with a bang...The online opinion poll result next week is very crucial to the market.

Sup guys, lots happened but first of all...britain aren't leaving any euro, its a 21st century scam. grin
well, lets walk through the pages of roads its gonna be...if britian should leave euro,it will cause a weakness which will lead to france, germany and other formidable countries in euro to leave too which will leave the other weaker countries in euro to be prone to attacks without a protection somehow, this series of events will lead to only one way which will be the world going back to the primitive ages of countries self independence and domination of countries by those who are more powerful or sort. in other to avoid this many stuffs and the doom of some countries some natural and super-imposed events will have to start occuring in other to avoid the first stated scenario (this doesn't seem logical or anything) but believe me everything is going to be back to normal and on that voting day which is now maybe postponed because of mp assassination now the citizens are more emotional and according to the last survey by phone stay has gone up wildly against the leave side but the online poll says other wise.
i am not in any trades apart from my love pairs, will be watching but all gbp pairs seems to be sitting on bullish gun powder.
I don't care as long it doesn't have a thing to do with me i guess we have a lot to deal with here in 9ja,so lets see what their decisions will be like.

As for dat GOLD, the SELL is due on 4 HOUR chart but 1 Hour still signaling it for a temporary buy for now it may try to cover that Gap and the sell it made since market open till the break of today

I see gold follows trendline a lot , and based on this daily TF that bullish channel has been breached , what we have there now is an inside out setup which was supposed to be a retest of the line but got overshot. the bearish price rejection is a good confirmation for a sell .. wink wink

Nice....but just from my observation here....i think it will do a temporary BUY for now before it sells eventually massively
