yes, majorly for delivery but not all of them are unregistered. I used a maternity home; it's registered and the midwife there is a qualified, very experienced matron in National hospital. I registered at a private hospital initially before registering at d maternity home at 24wks n I thank God I did. The nurses at d hospital were so careless (e.g giving u a container wt another patient's name already on it to pee in for urine test, even though I had to be d one reminding them that they've nt done any urine test for me; n ds Ws like on my 3rd appointment o, d blood test results nko? It Ws in my presence there d doctor Ws copying it out of his Nokia torchlight fone) n d doctor wld be giving flimsy excuses for their carelessness when u complain to him. If I start to list all my complaints to them here, I wee nor finish today. Thank God I Ws a "professional mommy" like ma'am zaynie n read everything readable on pregnancy n childbirth like I wan write professional exam n wld ask questions abt everything so tey d doctor go say "Nawah o, na everything u sabi" lol when I stopped going there for ANC, up till today dem no call once to check say hw far o, hw u dey, ur pikin never reach to born (wen pikin sef don reach 8 months) Lol n they knew me very well cos I Ws d only ANC patient wearing hijab there dat time coupled wt my curious nature wt them. In all, we shld jst always make informed decisions, open eyes wella, ask questions whenever necessary n above all, PRAY for God's favor n mercy

I m a silent follower of this group.but i decided to send dis post today after reading Up some BS which is like from one horrible story to another..I know des BS are only puting more fear in the minds of pregnant ladies.The worst enemy of a pregnant woman in labor is fear.becos after hearing all these stories,the person gets so scared which increases the pain when the person is about to give birth.Now let me shock you my mum had painless labor and she gave birth to five.I and sister also had painless labor.we only felt the head of the baby crowning and dat was all.no tear of any kind.What really helped us was a positive mind.we refuse to listen to any nagative stories n we surrounded ourseleves with postive stories always.pls every mother here should try to get dis supernatural child birth.Pregnancy is a blessing n not a curse.Children are free gift from God n the gift of God bringth joy n added no sorrow or pain.Remain positive.

2 of my friends (both FTM) had their babies without tear. Also, their labour was very short and without much pain(they both testified to it.)
One of them even recommended a book that she read which she believes helped her; Supernatural delivery. I got it and have started reading it. To be honest I am not so scared of labour.

My mum had 7 children, and she keeps on saying its not as bad as we hear.
Me i believe them, and am now looking forward to seeing my princess.
So please o, be positive and hopeful.

On d contrary, I think FTMs naturally frighten themselves ( if that makes any sense Experienced mamas (I mean dt av given birth at least once) keep pointing out dt FTMs shld calm down, labor/delivery is nt so bad, tears or not u'll be fine. Jst go with d flow, be in tune with ur body, be knowledgeable BUT keep an open mind, listen to ur doc's/midwife's instructions n dnt form super woman. Simple. When I Ws pregnant, every hospital I went to before deciding wch one to register wt, I go ask like how often their patients dey geh tears during delivery? Lol I Ws dt scared of tear. once in a while fear of d D-day wld creep into my mind n i'd tell masef, I sha wee born one day noni, n women av been doing it since d beginning of time. When labour started, I didn't remember fear. U'd only be concerned wt getting ur baby out n being free at last. I gave birth at 37wks1day after less than 2hrs of labor, I had tear bt by d 3rd day I wasn't feeling anything again. Resumed kpekus 3wks postpartum. N believe me, d longer throat to do it all over again been dey do me since 2wks postpartum, bt AF is yet to resume after 8 months+. I wish I didn't bother my pretty head abt labor/delivery n tears. Seriously. So FTMs, PLS CALM DOWN, LABOR o, DELIVERY o, TEAR o, THEY AREN'T SO BAD. U R A WOMAN, U WERE BORN TO DO THIS. The job requirements doesn't include YRS OF EXPERIENCE To be able to hold ur precious cuties in ur arms n kiss their chubby cheeks, kiss them all over, count their tiny toes n fingers, stare dreamily at them nonstop like u can't believe they'r all urs, U HAVE TO BIRTH THEM first! so calm down mamas, we shall read everyone, s sweet BSTs here inshaAllaah.

UmmTwins2, thanks for sharing. When you gave birth at 37weeks, your baby had no issues abi? Dr has said my baby might come at 37weeks since he's already big and i'm having so many pre-labor symptoms. I'm okay with it too but some pple say baby wont be fully mature at 37weeks

Ftm abeg make una no fear again! Sometimes this horror bs are shared to give labor and delivery a reality check! That doesn't mean yours will be same. Experiencing it will give you a better understanding of how it goes, I was afraid of tear too and my doctor at anc didn't do me any good when I asked how painful it is? She told me its called labor for a reason but I can reduce the intensity by obeying instructions.

I practised the breathing technique, read supernatural delivery back to back! I did everything to the nines, I was physically and mentally ready when I walked into the hospital to have my son.
I gisted with everybody in my entourage, played diamond rush on my phone, ate cactus salad, then opened my jajaina well for the doctor to insert medicine that will induce labor that was when everything changed! The pain ehn? I forgot to breath and was just shouting remove it remove it!
Abeg lemme stop here seems I've only added more salt to injury cast fear away and focus your mind on the reward ( your baby). If God finds me worthy and blesses me with another pregnancy I now know what to expect and how to handle it.

Yipeeee, that's good news, welcome to karu ,my dear, I dey oo, today has been stressful for me, woke up around 5 to prepare for my antenatal, and came back home around 2, have been sleeping. Sisters of nativity is very okay, they have antenatal for mon and tues, u can come on those days as early as 7-8, to open a new folder plus card is 1k, and all those test d do hiv, hep, glucose and d rest is 3600, (but since you are reg late with them, you might spend up to 5k or 7k at most, am not sure sha) but all in all, just hold like 10k.
If u wish to be seen by a gyna, u will come on a thursday, and afta opening ur folder which is 1k, consultation for the gyna is 4k. Hope this helps? Feel free to ask any questions

Secondly. My MIL gave birth to mighty kids. All their birth ever has been cs even to the children's children.

Am earnestly praying for painless vd. Am praying to carry my mum n her siblings leg. Even my dad side, vd all through.

I watch it alot during ttc. But now. Am just concerned with different stages of pregnancy.

Nope. None whatsoever. He's as healthy as can be. Since birth, not even a single case of cattarh or even skin issue; no single rash sef. Very strong n chubby. He's standing unsupported at 8 months. N no complications whatsoever on my part too; evry signs/symptoms of pregnancy or delivery disappeared almost immediately. 37wks is term (early term) nt 38. My friend had her baby at 36wks, he's 1 1/2yrs now n he's doing very fine. @Cutestmummy on NL had her baby at 36w2days. No probs if Hansel decides to come now, it's fine. We started kpekusing like evryday from 30wk-ish n long walks started at exactly 36wks. I still went shopping for hrs a day before delivery. That Ws all I did to prepare for labor. 37wks gestation is term.

I always watch live birth on YouTube too and they always give me courage. Also whenever I remember that my mum gave birth to two out of four children at home unassisted I feel I Can also handle labour 'may God help me' just that my jaijana is tight but DH and I always kpekus so that the place Can become wider #coverfaCe
