Mizzzbeee:Jahil is not bad also.Saw his game with the sixers but sometimes, he screws thier game up. He could not blend in with Noel.I often looked at both of them as two centers men played at the same time. I just need the warriors to get a solid center. The East need to get stronger. Whitside is coming up. I feel the Heat will also be contenders next season. Raptors might need to toughen up. I want to see real competition when you are not sure which team will make it to the finals. |

Skywalker5:ready yourself for the bullet. ![]() I could say the same about the okc-warriors series. don't try to cheapen what the cavs just achieved, cavs fans tried to do the same last year una no gree |

SIRcumalot:Okc was not the better team during that series. Durant was the best player in that series. He was the guy holding it down. It depends on how you look at it. I love OKC too but they were screwing up a lot during the regular season. Remember when i was screaming with the amount of turnovers westbrook was having. Warriors were consistent throughout. They were the best team IMO. I am not trying to cheapen the CAVS. i was rooting for the warriors to win so you can understand by sentiment . I am happy for them and sad that the team i was rooting for was used as a scape goat to revive King James legacy. |

Mizzzbeee:in the last 10 years the eastern have won it 5 times, while the western just 4 times.miami heat in 2006,boston celtics in 2008,dallas mavericks in 2011, miami heat in 2012 and 2013 and the recent won cavs in 2016.I don't see any weakness in the eastern confrence.they are as good as the western confrence. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:26am On Jun 22, 2016 |
Skywalker5:I don't even think Durant was the best during that series. Westbrook probably was. Again, I believe GSW as a team is inherently better than the Cavs. But on this series, the cavs played better. The warriors did not play to their full(est) potential, partly due to the mammoths (LBJ and Kyrie), Green's suspension, poor psychological mindset, etc. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 10:42am On Jun 22, 2016*. Modified: 11:07am On Jun 22, 2016 |
LoJ:Westbrook is good.i know he scores but his turnovers are scary. I think he was in the top 3 players with the highest amount of turnover during the regular season. Green's suspension ruined it all. It ruined thier vibe but i have a feeling they will be back. Congrats to Lebron getting a ring for Cleveland but i hope suspending a player during the finals because his feelings got hurt should never happen again. . He should man up next time . I am sure Cavs fans are going to eat me alive today as i dey look for trouble ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 12:22pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Skywalker5:you're still saying the same thing, the championship validate all. you're talking like it is a one game series not 7. and if we're going down this path, if LeBron had Kyrie and love for the finals the warriors won't have a championship. if we've learnt anything from this post season that is it. (na you light this fuse o). be gracious and take the L. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 12:24pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
SIRcumalot:Guy i won't lie to you. E pain me gan. GSW fall my hand. Over believe worry me . I have never felt like this before during any NBA game. I want another rematch next season ooooo.Lebron should be ready. The west are coming back for their throne. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:27pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Skywalker5:I really did not imply that Westbrook>KD. Potentially Durant outclass Westbrook offensively. West is more like a warrior. Westbrook's tendencies for one man shows sometimes made their team loose some games during these playoffs. West can be the best or the worst for a team depending on his mood. Yes he gets frequently triple doubles but sometimes it costs his team the victory. My point however was that during the series against GSW he was more constant and important than Durant. Some even argue that Durant is getting old and his game is stereotyped. But I would take Durant over Westbrook any day. Concerning GSW, people can give all excuses they want but the truth is in life Shit happens. what you do is preparing for alternatives ahead of time and thinking your team well through. Green deserved to be suspended lets get that clear. Whether Nba wanted to help their cause is another debate, but Green deserved it. If you don't want to be cheated, play by the rules. Again, Green was suspended only once. GSW lost 3 games, 2 at home including the final. They can't but blame themselves. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 12:32pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
LoJ:Yes, the players have themselves to blame for this. You can't blame me. This finals really got me emotional. I never wanted James in the finals as i was worried but when the game went 3-1, my mind was relaxed and i'm sure the same thing happened to the warriors but that suspensions really changed momentum. i should stop wishing on what could have been. The warriors will rise again. The west will reclaim their throne. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:33pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Mizzzbeee:He has my blessing. Would you believe over the last twelve years Josh Howard is the only All-star the Mavs have drafted? That team he dragged to a ring even Lebron cannot do it. He deserves at least two rings before he retires and I just don't see the Mavs giving him that. Offload Barnes and Ezeli get Dirk |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:48pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
borngeologist:Lmao bruh. Two can play that game Since year 2000 Lakers 5 titles Spurs 4 titles Mavericks 1 title Golden State 1 title Heat 3 titles Pistons 1 title Celtics 1 title Cavs 1 title |
| Re: The NBA Begins by borngeologist(m): 1:00pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
A40:we mention in the last decade,in the last 10 years. Not since 2000 |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:14pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Mizzzbeee:I wonder if the Bulls can be conned into taking Barnes and Ezeli for Butler. Horford na aje butter center. His rebounding is poor for his position. He also likes to take J's and I'm not sure if he can dominate the paint |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:16pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
borngeologist:The game didn't start last decade my guy. Everyone can interpret and remix the stats to suit their argument |

| Re: The NBA Begins by borngeologist(m): 1:46pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
A40:the eastern conference has the most title with a single team 17 (boston celtic). Western confrence. Eastern conference La lakers 16. Boston celtics 17 Sa spurs 6. Chicago bulls 7 GSW 2. Detriot pistons 3 Houston rocket 2. Miami heat 3 dallas mavericks 1. Cleavland cavaliers 1 Milwaukee buks 1. New york knicks 1 Portland trail blazers 1. Sixters 1 Seattle supersonics (okc) 1. Washignton wizard1. Have now been able to convince you and not to confuse you that eastern conference Is the real deal.and I think we all should dab for eastern conference |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:12pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Mizzzbeee:Beee, you have to consider what we have to Andre Drummond. He will force plays better than Ezeli or Bogut and he definitely finishes better than Ezeli. He is quicker and he protects the rim better. Sure if they put him on the FT line, he will miss as many as Bogut or Ezeli so nothing spoil! Cousins will grow up. He is still considerably young and in a team he knows won't win jack in the next 5 years. If he is lured to come to GSW, he knows he has it all to lose as they are already a championship side. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:17pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
SIRcumalot:David was not a better fighter than Goliath. David just defeated Goliath. The Warriors proved themselves all season to be the best team. They won 73 games, got to the finals and were up 3-1 against the Cavs that had dropped only 2 games before playing GSW. Nobody and I repeat nobody can or has said Cavs didn't deserve their win. But you would be unjust to say GSW was not the best team all season. Similar to when Chelsea beat Bayern in 2012. If we look at it head to head against OKC and Cavs in both regular season and P/Os, GSW beat OKC 7 times and lost 3 times while they beat Cavs 5 times and lost 4 times. In both cases they beat both teams more times than they lost. That's why losing to any of them would have been an UPSET. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:27pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
LoJ:Westbrook was not the best player in the series AT ALL. In his team KD was. Nobody can take anything away from West, as he is great. But his team could have survived without his free scoring and gotten similar assists from Waiters. Perhaps, his greatest presence was in game one when he had 19pts in the third quarter. Other than that, look at things critically and OKC would have won games 3 and 4 without him. Perhaps it won't have been a blowout but they would have won. But I agree with all you said about GSW. |

Dallas fan here, but nowitzki has ny blessing. He can go to the warriors to challenge for a title while Dallas Tanns for the next two years. Will make it easy for dallas fans actually, our favorite player is still challenging for a title while our team is sucking it up. I think Dirk should leave, if he can get two more rings before he retires, that would probably put him high on peoples top 10 ever. I will support him regardless of what he chooses. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:55pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
warriors could use bismack biyombo if they get rid of bogut or ezeli and then sign dirk cause make no mistake lebron and GS are playing in the finals again |

borngeologist:NO we ddnt. you stated in the last 10 years to back your claim ![]() Every season its not certain what team wud be at the finals for the western conference. But for the east everyone knows Cavs r going to be der as long as Lebron is der....no competition. But is Lebron guaranteed a spot in the finals, if he was in the west? NO! #East is Weak Enuf said |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:35pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Mizzzbeee:No actually it is you and A40 that are diverting the Topic. The Topic was, Is the Eastern Conference weaker Now than the Western? And not which conference has the highest number of Championships. If that was the case, it would reflect in the latest trends that the East is way behind the West. Unfortunately, it does not reflect. 10 years is quite a good range to measure recent trends. The point is not to claim that the East is better or worse, but just to see if there is a huge discrepancy, and there is none. In addition, I personally believe the advantage of the West is more perceived than real. Even if it is factual, there is nothing strange therein. Equilibrium is always achieved through balance. So there are periods of time where many great players are concentrated in the east, then some years later it shifts to the east. Basic law of nature. |

Eruditor:"To be the best you have to beat the best" I know,i know it is a cheesy and ultimately meaningless aphorism but you can't deny it works in this case. if you don't,I'll gladly concede that the GSW is the greatest regular season team of all time. |

borngeologist:GSW 4, blazers 2...cmon bro this ur statistics r wrong |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mizzzbeee(f): 4:13pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
LoJ:You see where you are wrong. Just because you wanted to support your fellow fan, you threw him under the bus unknowingly. I actually brought up this talk, i said and i quote that the East is a weak conference. Then bog came out in defense with the championship statement and A40 answered. so ![]() |
