When the medical comes, will cic send a message to my gmail box or it's just my cic account that will be updated? I'm expecting a medical call this week in the name of Jesus. 5 Likes |

Qwertyasdf: It usually takes CIC 4 weeks to contact TRV applicants after the medical update. It could take less or more but I think one may contact them after 4 weeks of getting a medical update. And one should avoid coming across as desperate in his/ her message to them. Just my opinion. The VOs are not demigods. One may also choose to wait it out and not contact them. What will be will be.

Really what is the meaning of the Slash there......well it means current occupation OR activity..... you could be working, volunteering, freelancing, et al.... its just a coincidence NYSC would involve you working too... you just need to emphasize its a compulsory thing that your country is asking you to do and should not be taken as part of your career path.... ...... I hope you understand better now... RealJ: 1 Like |

GIG2016: i don't mean to be offensive. but is your application 12 or 13wks today?? you as the applicant is supposed to know that offhand/accurately |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by RealJ: 9:50pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
hayqinsbFX: You should understand that NYSC should be filled as the name of the organization and not the occupation. Writing NYSC at Community Secondary School makes no sense. It is even better if you write NYSC teacher than just NYSC. Anyway I give up. I hope it has been working for you, that's what counts. 1 Like |

Hi, Have you received your offer letter from University of Regina, If yes, did your offer letter include your exact tuition as directed by CIC? Because mine did not. Are you going ahead to use the offer letter to apply for your visa? Please let me know what you did because i am having the same issue. Thanks. Sexyqueen2: |

It is required you get police cert to prove inadmissibility, whether paper or online route. Its a requirement by CIC for study permit and is required by Nigerian applicants. On the document checklist, you see a box that states something like 'additional documents' by country or something. But its the last to be ticked. Cheers sammyacbxyz: |

hayqinsbFX:people come here to make unnecessary unwarranted arguments..whether in the family form or study permit form,if u r still serving, ur present occupation/activity should be written National youth service corp (NYSC) - teacher/computer IT/secretary and ur PPA becomes the name of the organisation.case closed 2 Likes |

Hi Guys. I'm applying to SAIT for the applied degree in Petroleum Engineering. As touching transcript, is it avoidable to have my transcript assessed? How recognized is this cert outside ca? Do grads of this programme get hired by the likes of Total, Exxon and Shell? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by missymii: 8:06am On Jun 23, 2016 |
hesque:thanks for replying. Studying to become a PRN would require having a nursing background right? Which I don't have. Is there a way I could study nursing or something very close that is also in high demand that I could build a career on fr 2 yrs |
