How would you rate thier forex exchange rate and what's the token all about?
A friend was telling me about a token for online banking

Their Forex exchange rate is OK I used it before however with the new policy on Forex now that is the liberalization of the Forex market in Nigeria in addition to the Brexit we are yet to have a near stable exchange rate recently hoping soon.
The token is an additional security measure meant to protect your funds against online hackers or thieves. it is issued by the bank and you will nerd to use it to complete every online transaction. The token is a small device so to say which you will press and it will give you a numeric code which you will enter before your transaction is carried out. you can visit the bank website for more information.

token is a device dat enables one to do a transaction. it generates 6 digits dat you input wheneva u want to do any transaction just for security purpose.
its not compulsory u get d card urself,a third party can get dat for u xpecialy when u've provided d necessarily details dat demands d bank to issue d card d third party; like u provide an indemnity form, fill d card release form(can b scanned to u), a letter to ur a/c officer.

Please help, I opened a first bank domiciliary account with first bank, and now am trying to transfer money from Turkey to the account but could not, please anyone who will be able to help and advice, do Nigerian banks still accept dollar to dollar transfer, or dollar to Naira, please help.

UBA very useless bank, deducting #65 from my account per withdraw through ATM card dis last week, I experienced dat twice last week and I withdrew through ecobank ATM machine

Ehe..Staff? Usual Nairaland kid comments. I run my businesses guy for 15yrs now. The whole banking industry knows this and not someone like you stereotyped on GTB. I have been using GTB since 2002 and Diamond since 2010.
Let me give u key differences of recent:

1. GTB just Started use of app to do foreign transfers last year. It has been a diamond bank feature for years.

2. Diamond Bank app loads like winch for login and transactions. GTB takes longer.

3. Your log-in details for GTB can take days to receive if your acct officer is slow like mine. I had to chase them last month for 4-dsys for my acct officer to authorise and get new login details sent to me. For Diamond, I do reset easily vand my login details after visit to any branch.

My new login details sent after chasing GTB for days even still didn't work.
You can do virtually all Banking transactions especially via the Diamond Bank app on the move. I observed since last year, most new features I use on Diamond app gets introduced much later by GTB, Sterling and First bank(my top three I use daily). For my Zenith Acct, I don't even like the GUI. Still looks like old Gotten commands and many transactions still not allowed on our corporate i-bank. And their app takes so long to load. The Easy money app by Zenith bank loads relatively fast compared to their corporate i-bank but gives me loads of worry. Many times including yesterday, I will effect instant transfer to other banks. It will show 'SUCCESS'and yet transfer will not go thru.

Let me not bore with details. I use about 12 banks. But after series of transactions I have made my choice

Use DIAMOND bank,is Good for online banking.

Seriously 98 percent of Nigeria banks are perfect,the remain 2 percent is skybank

Do you change your Naira to Dollar and vice versa in your online account. I have a Dom, current and savings and I wished I can move Naira to my Dom account

I've tried 5 different banks for online banking..... but Diamond bank seems like the best to me

I think Diamond is better. The problem with fidelity is that it does' not allow you to transfer more than one million Naira at once. This is what pushed me to Diamond. I was using fidelity before but suddenly last month their system started giving me headache.

Gtbnk bnk sent my token from lagos to Maryland baltimore usa. I have been using dem 5yrs on now...not even a penny has gone missing."weda ur money slow to upload or not,suffer e upload"TransFer is safe! Exchange rate is favourable.

Hi, you can open the NRN account with UBA and use the online banking platform which is U- direct which is a better option for you and you can make use of the token which can be downloaded on your smartphone either Android or iOS to make your transactions seamless with good exchange rate too

For anything international, Stanbic IBTC is the best and they have the second lowest exchange rate....

Standard chartered has the lowest exchange rate but few branches.

Stay off first bank, I'm warning you ooo, they will dissapoint you when you need them most. Many times I regretted banking with them.

for me its Ecobank, its fast reliable, and secure, you can transfer funds to anyone in Nigeria or anywhere in the world at any time of the day, either mid night or even weekends, and the reciever gets it immediately, try it and u won't regret
