There are few, if any, averagely well-to-do persons in Nigeria, that will want a break up.

They have inter-married, have businesses, and other investments across the country and hope to expand . . . population is a big advantage for investors/businessmen. Most people advocating for disintegration, are youths without much at stake, some less informed people, and some corrupt people with ulterior motives.

REFERENDUM is the best way to Know the truth. Boko Haram desire Islamic State, to use Arabic as official language.

You know that from all the Middle-Belt to all the South, no one wants anything to do with anything Islamic. They desire to be like America & Europe. This tension can be resolved by REFERENDUM.

Hausa people generally like to mind their own business, from one independent Hausa town to another. Or are FULANI LEADERS still surreptitiously using Islamic slogans to gain control over Northern Nigeria, & extend gradually to Southern Nigeria?

This policy has NEVER WORKED, & WILL NEVER WORK, but is actively HINDERING the development of Nigeria & Nigerians.

Nigeria should not break up, but revert to regional government and weaken the center. That way, lazy politicians will be easily exposed, and there will be a sense of collective belonging.
The current system empowers clanish government over merit. With regional government, we will be forced to go on merit.
