So outta the millions in the said states, not one could be found with "qualification". Guessed as much. Three down south. One in the north - and no, not core north. 74 Likes 5 Shares |

This is very funny...so this government want to tell me that ondo and ebonyi state that are in the first 10 list of nigerias most educated states but largely illiterate states like katsina where even the president does not even have a real waec result can have qualified people. This government is a joke and their failure is phenomenal. Thank God i am moved to iceland from nigeria after returning from russia during GEJ era to contribute to my country. 108 Likes 4 Shares |

I thought they made a mistake but it's obvious they need to go for mental checkup. So a state like Yobe has more qualified candidate than Ondo? 37 Likes 1 Share |

So a whole state doesn't have a qualified candidate for the post of an ambassador. When universities graduate students every yr. when will nigerian politicians stop favouritism and nepotism. 26 Likes |

the 36 states do not need to have a nominee each cos federal character has to do with geopolitical zone .. although, the fg's excuse is flimsy 6 Likes |

Re: Ambassadorial List: The Four Omitted States Have No Qualified Candidates - FG by Nobody: 7:40pm On Jun 27, 2016 |
Ah well....appointing an ambassador from one's state does not provide jobs for the citizens of the state....or visas for that matter to any of the countries they are posted to. In my opinion, the people of the 4 states missing out should focus on what their governors and LG chairmen are doing, rather than an ambassadorial position which helps no one. My state has sent lots of ambassadors to XYZ....yet...I cannot see any benefit. MODIFIED In reading the comments here, I have some thoughts. 1.First....ambassadors do not necessarily create jobs, neither are they important to the day to day lives of most Nigerians 2.Secondly, there is no where in the laws of Nigeria that says that Southerners must get all the plum posts. 3.Thirdly......I can understand where some of these people are coming from. However I can;t for the life of me see where moaning about ambassador posts that do not have any impact on jobs, etc....comes in. 4.Nigerians need to stop being tribal bigots....Northerners and Southerners both. It is sickening. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Federal Government is telling the whole world that 4 States in Nigeria cannot produce anybody that meet the criteria to be in the so called Ambassadorial list but the president is qualified to rule Nigeria. The cannot produce someone to represent even Ghana, Togo, Cotonou, Cameroon, Kenya. haba APC. I don't believe in this government again. Oky we will like to know that particular criteria that disqualified those four state from the list. 26 Likes 2 Shares |
