persius555:My dear you are right but come to think of it, they didn't create their social media for international flavor judging from the language. Secondly their socialist system of government has ranked them as a the world's trade hub, world's largest exporter of goods /services, world's largest flight destination and second world best economy and seriously gearing to become the first. So don't you think Nigeria needs iron fist to progress. For instance their retributive system of crime control has made political positions and embezzlement of public funds very unattractive. If you have been to China you will discover that politics is not attractive also you can hardly see convoy of cars nor sirens. How dare you. Don't you think we need such in Nigeria? |

You have said it all, Nigeria Government are too busy with other things, the rate of unemployment in this land would have been reduced if appropriate policies are put in place and Government always consider the interest of their citizens in any MOU they sign. Paypal will continue to help us spend our money until govt come to our rescue, a lot of job can be done online if the mode of accepting payment is extended to everybody and we can drastically reduce. At first i was thinking it's due to the activities of the Yahoo-Yahoo boys but i realized it was because of the ignorance and care-free attitude of govt , Dottore: |

DCTrendy:@Coldfeets and DCTrendy, i am about to open a Neteller account now. Which currency do you think is best for me to choose out of the options available. i own a website where i am looking forward for people outside Nigeria to make purchases and also another website where just Nigerians alone will buy so i am confused at which currency option to choose (between the Naira and USD) as they (Neteller) made emphasis that any option chosen cannot be eventually changed. Any ideas ![]() |

I wish our currency was good. Bloggers like myself will be making a killing. Unfortunately advertisers in Nigeria are really not paying much and we publishers won't get much either. Also, hopefully CBN/our banks and paypal can finally allow us to receive money through paypal. |

prince3009:I'd say go for Neteller in USD That's what I'm using It's the commonest But I believe there should be some inter currency conversion on Neteller so you don't really have much to worry about |

Nigerians and their government has failed to realize that was it is called economic protectionism where the sole interests of the citizenry is paramount. But, what do we have here, as long as 'I' can reap the benefits of this deal 'I' don't care what impact it makes on others. Thus, foreign manufacturers have equally treated us with impunity because we are selfish, greedy and lacks patriotism. We should ask ourselves, how many manufacturers do we have in Nigeria as compared to South Africa and we are undoubtedly the biggest spender in Africa. I weep for this nation. |

pippimp:Ignoramus. Nigeria is number three in the world in MOBILE shopping and payments. Most western countries browse through laptops and PCs. China is number one, India is number two and Nigeria is number three in mobile phone shopping. USA and other western countries don't even register on cell phone browsing. |

We are living in a country where the citizens and firmly bonded with a taste for luxuries and sophisticated gadgets, imagine some senseless Nigerians buying a driverless car and use it in a country where some streets are not documented in the map ,thanks for fashola for properly documentation of Lagos streets and making it extremely easy to identify border and spot our destination from the point of travel but our many states can do this at a point that a governor has declared friday as a public holiday for civil servants to farm simply because he can't pay salaries again. |
