Just recently, my PC froze and I fixed it. Two days later, it developed other complex issues. It gets very hot and gives off a smell like something is burning. I guess thats why the battery hardly lasts up to two hours now which even after a full charge. Also, the windows always suddenly restarts each time I put it on.
It's a hp 250 and it doesnt come with a fan.(But a deep freeze)

What happen is that HP 250 normally come with a small restaurant but I believe the manager of that bukka has become recalcitrant hence leaving the dishes to burn (which translates to the odour you perceive even though your PC is freezing). So I suggest you lose your laptop or secure the services of dedicated investigative vigilantes to fish out that very manager and burn him alive with petrol and tire That way, the fire settles the freezing issue and at the same time terminates the persistent burning odour coming from the stables of your laptop's kitchen. you would have succeeded in killing a dozen beds with one stone

I upgraded to windows 10 but the issue now is I shut down the system and I'm trying to power it up buh its just showing a dark screen. All the lights are on and am hearing some beep sounds in d disk drive but d screen remains blank. Please how do I resolve tnis issue. Thanks

Good morning, my Hp pavilion DV 6000 just developed a fault. The sound is no longer working unless through headset/earpiece. What could be the problem and what's the solution? I have checked the volume control and tried different multimedia player, still no sound at all.

Buy a bootable disc I mean the particular os that you want, insert the disc then press f12 to select bootable device. i.e dvd rom, hard disk then just select dvd by pressing enter, then it will ask you to "press any key" then follow the command......

Yea bro, it still works. It was cleaned professionally sometimes in Jan., but i do clean it any time i want to use it like everyday. I noticed the sound fluctuates at times it hums low at times it goes higher

It could be that you recently installed a software that is resource demanding. This could get your fan working regularly, to cool your laptops temper(so ur laptop no go vex, by way of overheating).

When you have hungry resources application, the fan kicks in for ventilation.
When you run a 100 meter race, you open your mouth, inhale and exhale air for ventilation.
Unfortunately or Fortunately, your laptop no wan die of exhaustion. Hence loud humming for ventilation.
Next time the laptop is thirty, open your cold tap and run approximately one bucket through it (Send Seun Osewa the bill if you do)!!!!!

Good morning, pls help me, my hp pavilion dm4 suddenly developed d problem of nt switching on. It all started last yr wen i was writing my project, it wil b on and all of a sudden it will start gliching and then switch off on its own. And wen i tried turning it on ,d buttons will display its light but d screen will nt show anytin. Uptill now it is still lyk dat pls help me out.

What version of Windows are you using?

Good Morning! Pls my laptop developed a fault that sometimes it will just go blank when on while sometimes it will show.When showing after sometime the screen will start shaking from there it will return to being blank.Other times the picture of the screen will be some how bt later it will go back to normal.So someone told me it was flex problem bt I wanted to ask u guys to knw if it is really flex or screen problem so that I will knw hw to tackle it.Thanks

Is you Anti-virus up to date? Also you can download CCleaner. Freezing may occur due to software related issue, driver related issue, corrupt OS or faulty hardware. Clean the computer using computer cleaning utility like CCLeaner on a daily basis.
