Ever heard of the "JOZI CAT's"? Well yes, they are the first all Gay Rugby Sports Team in Africa. The Jozi Cats is an inclusive Full Contact Rugby and Touch Rugby Club from Johannesburg, South Africa.

The team which was formed earlier this year, with the sole aim of looking to provide the opportunity for "gay, straight and bisexual" men to play and enjoy ever improving standards of rugby, as well as being a role model to the gay community and a successful example of friendly cohabitation between people of different sexual orientations of different racial and cultural backgrounds, though they never ask players to openly identify their sexual orientation.

Since it's formation, the JOZI CAT's have embarked on extensive marketing campaigns aimed at eliminating the disparities against "Homophobic" people, with the most recent campaign which was done recently and tagged "RUGBY That's So GAY" using abusive slurs which they hear on the pitch such as 'queen, fairy, pansy and pillow biter and Flame Thrower' in a bid to eliminate "Homophobia"

The Team which is also on a recruitment drive, further said, they want to "Take GAY Stereotypes and turn them on their heads'.
