If you dissect their email properly, they acknowledge that you sent the required documents, but complained about the certification. This may be due to a number of reasons. Did you submit certified copies of your certificate or statement of result? I guess they need your certificate. To overcome this hurdle, you may need to certify your statement of result from your school (if your certificate is not ready). To be on a safer side, mail/call them and ask for the specific document(s) affected.

Ok. I will mail/call them. Cause their email was quite vague, cos I need to know the exact problem. My statement of result was certified from school and also the embassy. Transcripts too.

Hehehe you just gave an apt description of kitchen hustle.... on Point!

Let me write mine too. But I'm not a fan of writing long essays. Anyway here is my story so far.
I came to Germany as everyone else and decided to learn the language first, during this period the kind of jobs i did were just the normal "Umzugshilfe" which literally is relocation assistance kind of work. I did this job because I was paid in cash, no giving of bank details and no tax whatsoever. Take note, if you are not strong enough, don't try this job. The last job i did nearly broke my spine after moving household stuffs from a second floor apartment to a third floor apartment without lifts and with a narrow stairs, that was what broke the last straw in me.
Meanwhile, I was earning 100€ monthly, if you ask me from where, i can't write that here. But it was legal and had all my records on it. So, the other job was just a side job which wasn't regular but I earned at least 50€ per day and the most i have earned was 100€ for 3hrs, thar was from the last job.

After my language exams my studies began, I was able to express my self to most of my profs in German and they were amazed as to how fluent i was in the language within a short period of time. This created an opportunity for me and I got a HIWI contract, my duty was translating a part of the University's' site to English. This was a turning point in my life. I worked directly from home at my convenience which gave me flexibility. Although it is always good working from home, but you need a high level of discipline if you want to achieve maximum work time. This job gave me the opportunity to play around TYPO3 and now i am good working with it. It is already on my CV..lol.

Before my contract expired, I got another offer to work in another Faculty as a computer technician and text corrector. my job details was simple, format bible text in office or latex and ensure all PC and projectors are working efficiently. I had to put the job on hold till August, this has been my work experience so far.
Meanwhile, I have also worked in a logistic factory for two weeks, earned some hard cash but the pain afterwards is a story for another day. I have not worked in the kitchen despite reading lots of adverts, most of my German friends work in a bar or club or restaurant. So its no big deal working in the Gastronomiebranche.

Phew.. mein bruder von einer verschieden mutter, wir mussen diskutieren mehr beim andere mittel..

That's it.. we'll meet at the other end to discuss the bolded.. It has been interesting working with it so far..

Danke !

For the back and forth discussions on the number of jobs or hours u can do legally as a student, what I know on good authority is that you can do 2 legally registered jobs at once as a student without any issues with anybody. The catch dia is that for one of the jobs, your tax class is moved to tax class 6 and u pay more tax for it while on d other one, u retain your student tax class 1 and pay normal tax for it.

For this scenario, no law is broken and no office will invite you to come tell any story provided your studies will not suffer and you can manage your time. But managing your time with two jobs and study is wat I can't explain how one can pull that off except if you take a break from school which is also not illegal.

Can you tell us about how intership works over there?

There is no special how internship works. Almost all companies take interns if you apply wen dey advertise. So all u do is register on job portals and get job adverts in ur mail. When u see one that suits ur course, u apply and go for the interview like any normal job interview and if u are picked congrats.

A Nigerian student from Munich was in Frankfurt for an interview with Deutsche bahn for a 6 months internship last month and after d interview he got d job. He will be starting in October. They even paid his train tickets to and from Munich for him to come. So no biggie abt internship. Once u see a company advert that suits ur field, apply. Lobathan

Barka da sallah house, I'm in a jam. Uni-assist just got back to me that my my application is incomplete. They stated that "The copy of the documentation of your studies in the original language, issued by your university". That it wasn't sufficiently authenticated and show original stamp/signature. Despite the fact I did certify at the embassy with my other docs. My issue is;
1) What document are they talking about? Is it my school certificate? Transcript? (I'm applying with statement of result)

2)How do I go about resolving this because time is of the essence. Thanks.

Sorry the screen grab text might be small.

What I can tell you about this kind of issue with Uni-assist is that, discuss with uni-assist and hope you can reach a compromise where your application is forwarded. If not, and the deadline has passed and uni-assist will not accept any extra documents, contact the course coordinator and reason with him/her. The school can request that your application be forwarded either way.

Thanks. Seems that's my best option. I've followed due process and the system bit me in the ass. Will try and parley with them.

I booked an appointment for a visa interview. I used a school's admission letter that I am not planning to attend because my desired university's admission letter was not out.
Can I present my desired university's admission letter on the day of the interview instead of the former that I used to book?
Will that be allowed?
If not, what can I do afterwards?

This information is for those in Berlin already or those in the process of moving to Berling

Ausländerbehörde in Berlin opened up a second location on Monday this week. It's near Mierendorffplatz. If you plan to go, make sure you choose the right location for your permit type! Read more here:

Pheww!
My interview was on Tuesday and l thank God for the grace, opportunity and how well went.

I boarded a bus of One-chance people embarassed at Ojota while going around 5am. They took my phone and all the money I have. By God's grace they didn't see the 17k, my Visa fee, I put in envelope with my docs inside my bag and gave me back the bag after searching it. They finally gave me 2k for tp. I had to borrow at the embassy to complete the 17k to 19k.

Account details has dropped. Pls who is with info on the current happenings in funding of account?.

You can show up at the interview with a different admission letter, no troubles.
The admission letter you used for your appointment booking is not a binding requirement at the interview just as long as you present a valid admission letter during the interview with which the onward processing of your visa will proceed with the content of the accompanying application form indicating this also.
In essence, no question will be asked regarding the sameness of the admission letter for interview booking and that's why they ask you from the start, the name of your school and course on the interview day.

No. Account details come from Deutsche bank. You just have to fund it and send copy to embassy to complete the visa app for visa processing. Their email to me after the interview says so.
