especially when you are contract staff. i worked there as Industrial trainee for one year(2012). if they are to pay me base on my work i should have received 8.9million pounds monthly but na lie common 30k them wan kill man pikin. OP sef no complete am well.

If you want to work in a bank and enjoy your work, get chartered, ACCA and at least ICAN + a lot of professional qualifications will help, else, you may not have anything to show for it at the end of the day. Only the executives enjoy wella.

Forget the good looks and dressing, many bankers are groaning under the bondage of loans aside working in weekends, coming home late, job insecurity. It's not that really fun unless you are in the top echelon.

If you doubt me, ask that lady or guy at the counter.

Says who? If you like, gather all the professional degrees in the world. If they no do promotion or your Oga dey beef you, you're going nowhere. Unless the favor of God is @ work in your life. Your advice works for consulting firms, kpmg, pwc and co. I know some bankers that have spent 5-6 years on a level despite good appraisal. the trick is moving from one bank to another and not getting stuck in any.
