abeg! @enochogaga the "I better pass my neighbor" I just bought is making too much noise! its too loud. I am not the only one with this small generator here, but na my own loud pass. A neighbor of mine (that seems to know everything) says I should change the exhaust (its not a brand new gen). secondly, I saw red sparks flying out of the generator earlier on, what does that mean.

red spark flying from the exhaust, if yes,is normal. then is the noise from the exhaust,or engine.

(2) if the engine is smoking or shortage of oil.
(3) if the rings as been changed before.
if the engine as or is experience this don't buy. and pls don't buy I pass my neighbor Gen.

Prof. abeg which type of small gen do i need to power a 0.5hp sumo pump?

Good evening prof, using a tec gen but it smokes and unstable after switched on it switch off ,a frnd tod me to change the pistol and ring bt later was advised to Buy an half engine am afraid to cause dont knw weda changing d ring or buying an half engine would help.. Plsz kindly advice.

when ur gen is smooking the gen might being going off,cos when the smook form a carbon and the carbon is push to the plug,the engine will go off,cos the carbon as stop the spark light of the plug frm sparking. Now all u need to do is to loose the plug and clean it.
And smooking of gen can be fist,by changing of piston and rings, but if the engine block as finish, u need to change it also.

Secondly, changing of rings will be ok if the engineer is good and if he know some secrete about chaning rings and he need to get good part's also.
Now if ur gen old, just get new engine, but there are still fake and original engine.

i realy like the name u called me(mr g)
now, that just my challenge with tec product, frm 2500 to 8800 tec product are not really good when it come to good sound in old age period. But their 1800 to 1900 product are ok in all side.
For that noice to stop, first is the noice frm the coil side? Or frm the engind? I need to know dat, before giving the solutions

ok change the exhaust then, but never u burn exhaust, only a novice will burn exhaust thinking he or she is removing dirt or corbon,but little did he know he is destroying that exhaust

can I use this kind of stabilizer with my generator ( I better pass my neighbor). I don't know what just happened, the voltage suddenly jumped up and several of my electronics tripped off. the current is very high. I had to switch it off. is there anything I can do to reduce the voltage? or at least protect my electronics
