If you really want to understand forex, grab a coin and flip it 100 times. You'll find that you'll get heads and tails roughly between 40 to 50 percent of the time. What does this mean? Forex is a game of probability and having a system that can generate winnings 30 percent of the time, not to talk of 40 percent of the time will make you rich in the long run. So why is it so hard. Greed, impatience, discipline etc can all be attributed to most peoples failure. Including mine at one point in time. Going back to the coin flip. Remember we had to toss our coin 100 times to be able to determine our 40 to 50 percent heads or tails. Same with forex. To be profitable, you need to trade the same system consistently while cutting your losses short to be able to make money in the business. And just like the coin toss, we don't know which side of the coin will show up when we toss it, which means no one, i repeat no one knows the direction of price. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a gambler and gamblers don't succeed in forex. People don't realize how easy trading is. Back in the day, i used to calculate how much i would make on a trade. I learnt my lesson. Now, all i do is calculate how much i am going to lose if i place the trade, before i place the trade. I can't control price but i can control my account.

someone talked about flipping a coin and not knowing the direction of the trend...almost quoted but i thought what will the use be anyway,so just waka pass jare.
usdjpy is making me regret why i closed the buy,had the best entry and i left in a hurry...just did extra 150+ again today.

lol...it seems i will have to develop this TA for gauging how the results of FA will look like...being correct the 2nd or 3rd time in a roll now. wasn't online to close at the best price to re-enter again but its already came down. watching to scalp the pair from now on while i leave the trade i took off the monthly tf as its currently positive and see what tomorrow is gonna look like but i see its gonna be more bullish though.

this is the scenario its going to play on the cadjpy daily tf...its going to a good point up where a good sell can be initiated for the longer term sell. price will hit 73.xx before this pair will ever turn bullish at the marked red x line below.
trade idea:just keep the chart close for the day is close for sell sometime close.

My trading day and week has finally come to an end.

I pulled out of my last trade, I was hit with -40 pips and -1.2%...In summary for the week:

TRADES: 6
GOOD TRADES: 4
BREAK EVEN: 1
BAD TRADES: 1
PIP GAIN: +265
% GAIN: +2.9%
% ACCURACY:67%

It been a good slashing week, a lil saki while watching the sun set won't be a bad idea after a stressful week. See you guys next week and as always,

hahaha...not comlicated. what i said is that there will be an opportunity to sell at 82.19 or 83.83 level and the best TP to use for a long term is at 73.xx while you can pyramid the trade at different retrace points in time. that until price hit 73.xx the pair will not become fully bullish. you welcome sir.

This is wrong statement , I suggest riding this bullish move till Friday next week. The next BOE rate announcement will be on the 4th and this time for sure they would likely reduce interest rate to zero. So I expect an extreme bullish candle next week and a bearish candle the week after to continue until the week of 4th August .

how you get to analyse and understand these fundamental news/analysis still amazes me.

just quickly sold nzdusd just now with 24pips stop for 43pips tp...late entry though reason for poor r:r
the real trade will be to buy the nucca at the norm though

@boss owliver...i just sold the nucca with 15pips stop with TP @ 73.xx(850+ pips in prospect if it works out on TP1). its not advisable to enter trades like this but i am trying to improve my stuff over here though.
