Any time in nairaland when any biafran issue is mentioned, biafran antagonist keep saying the south east (IGOBS ) keep dragging the south south or Niger delta with them, with quotes like "we the Niger deltas should not be included in your Biafra rubbish", we SSners are not part of you". Then I ask myself are the SSners or Niger deltas a homogeneous tribe or race?
The last time I checked, Niger delta includes abia,imo,rivers,akwa ibom, delta, bayelsa cross rivers, etc . while SS are Edo, delta,rivers,c/rivers ,akwa ibom,bayelsa. these states contains different ethnic groups mainly, efik,annang, ijaw, ebibio,iteksheri,Igbo/delta Igbo. so how comes one ijaw boy or THOSE ijaw claimers, say SE is dragging SS to Biafra, and they say " we SS or ND is not part of Biafra we want Niger delta Republic".Abeg, Who is dragging who, one ijaw boy claiming he can speak for the other ethnic groups including igbos/delta Igbos. Please all these "we Niger deltas " should stop showing their foolishness,they should pray for referendum so that they can vote against Biafra.

There is a very big difference between Niger Delta & South South.


There is nothing like Delta Igbo. Onye Igbo bu onye Igbo not minding if he if from Benue, Delta or Ebonyi.


All the 19 northern states answer the North but they try dividing us down south especially the Igbos. Thats why they told Ikwere man that he is minority while even minority tribes in Bornu state & other places claim to be hausa or should i say hausa claimed them & they all join hand to claim majority.

Politically, the Niger Delta is the 6 SS States but geographically, there are only 3 Niger Delta States. When they say Niger delta in this context, what they mean is the 6 SS states. Imo, Abia and Ondo is never part of Niger delta. being included in NDDC is different from being a Niger delta State. and not being homogeneous doesn't mean the Niger delta are not one people.
