[s] tundexijim:[/s] You must have been in coma when your deluded, tribalistic kinsmen mortgaged their future for a pot of porridge and went out myopically to cast their votes in 2015... Only a bastard Yoruba will vote for Jonathan - Yoruba Summit, Ibadan The historic Parliament Building in Ibadan was over-filled today as prominent Yoruba in all professions, princes and monarchs, governors and former governors, gathered to articulate their aspirations and minimum demands from the Federal Government. The high point of the summit, convened by the illustrious Yoruba retired army general, Alani Akinrinade was the total support given the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari. The summiteers declared unanimously, “It is Buhari or nobody else”. A major proponent of this declaration, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade who was represented by High Chief Eddy Oyewole said, “On 28 March, 2015, let us vote for Buhari”. ... While Senator Anthony Adefuye strongly stated, “Only a bastard Yoruba will vote for Jonathan, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye said, ‘We will vote en masse for Buhari”... 3 Likes |

Koolking:tap into it as how?,by joining the apc?, because the only people that seem to be immune to this present economic hardship are the political class and those with government appointments like the minister who made that same statement that it's only the minority that is complaining and funny enough you just said the same thing, or are you related to the minister? |

According to Ayekooto Akindele facebook post: When Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria; Chief of Army Staff was from SE Chief of Naval Staff was from SE IG of Police was from SE Chief of Defence staff was fron SE Internal Affairs Minister SE External Affairs Minister SE Education Minister South SE Many other key ministries to SE Parliament President SE Unilag VC from SE University of Ibadan VC from SE North resisted same at ABU! Still there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!! Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed. Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it! We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets. These are documented facts! Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. 3 Likes 1 Share |

What did you expect before, is that not why he and his people fought tooth and nail for 12 years to get this power. I only feel for the poor citizens who are hoping on bubu to bail them out of the mess the country is in now. It is a colossal disaster to hope and expect anything good to come out of a tired man who has no time to think of the country's problem rather his health. You guys just haven't seen anything yet, this is still the beginning, by the time bubu is through with you guys, if you can still remember your name that will be a plus. 1 Like |

its sad reading comments supporting the lopsided appointments. the North keeps rubbing the South in dirt & rather than banding together, the southerners squabble like kids over a paper airplane. for those saying because the Igbos didn't vote enmass for Buhari & therefore deserve their lot, ask yourselves, you that voted enmass, what is your portion? in the US, political parties have their power bases & more often than not, the bases always vote for their party no matter the situation, that doesn't mean the Presidency will deny them what is due to them as stated in the constitution. if the Federal Character was not in the constitution, then Buhari is free to do as he desires. the Igbos also need to stop rising to every provocation. stop the hate. the Fulani North will always use & dump.. Ask Afonja, Awolowo, Azikiwe, Ekwueme, Abiola, Diya... the list is endless.... 1 Like |

Sometimes I wonder How you guys reason. So for the fact that the south east did not vote enmass for the president means they should be relegated to the back bench? And yet the resources from the so called 5% is used to run the country and even pay your salary. Smh. Nigeria as a multi ethnic nation is run from the resources of the SS and SE. It is "One Nigeria" when it comes to oil, and 5% when it comes to appointment. Abeg fear God! The south west really need to wake up from their deep slumber and stop this shameful servitude to the North. Despite your huge support and vote, what do you have to show for it? Nothing! You are even worse than the 5%. Where is Tinubu today? Probably gnashing his teeth and scheming to save his hides. He (south west) has been used and dump! The south west have this mentality of naming anything that doesnt speak Yoruba or Hausa as Igbo. GEJ is Igbo shey? Let me ask you. Is the North more educated than the South? Yet the president said he could not get a qualified person even from Ondo state for Ambassador! What a shame!! Affected states without nominees for Ambassador are from the south!. I have known Ondo state as one of the most educated states in the country. Has it been known/heard that the FCT minister is a southerners? Never! Even a resource in the North headed by a Southerner? Not in this life! But there is nothing wrong with a Northerner heading a resource in the South. It is one Nigeria. You really need to drop that kindergarten mentality of yours. Buhari should run an all inclusive government irrespective of region, that way, Ipob, NDA, Militancy, BH et al, will die a natural death. If not... 2 Likes |
