Spend a lot of skin-to-skin time with your baby so you can bond.

When I had my baby, at least, 3 times a week, i carried him with his bare body and placed on my bare chest. Your heart beat is always soothing to them. I leave him there, rock him to sleep and dats how our bonding was established. Dh too does same with him

Her reason, if you don't interrupt the yawn, the baby's mouth would enlarge. I no fit laff.

For the first time, she disagreed with the old wives--tie the navel stump with pepper soup ingredient and burn the hell outta the navel with a Lantern's tale... I over happy cos if she says "oya" and I say "no".. The elders must hear this

Pure witchcraft o my sister. Another said dey shud give him agbo to drink morning and evening. Another one said his colic is sign of convulsion so they shud give him one medicine like that.

He sucks every 45mins and i'm not exaggerating. I havent even slept at all since morning. He doesnt even give me time to use the breast pump to express milk

I'm tempted to supplement with formula o. I don tire

Meanwhile before it got to our turn at the hospital Mofe's temperature normalized. I tabled my complains and after examining him they prescribed : Ceporex to treat infection/dysentery (5ml/twice daily), PCM, Emgly (for stooling 5ml/thrice daily), Neofyln (for cold, cough & catarrh) and his normal vitamin c & multivite. Said nothing to worry about. We are back home and the guy is using his opportunity to molest my boob without pity.

I expressed 120mls before going to bed. I was happy that Hansel's stomach will be full.

Only for dh to wake me up at night when i was already in cloud 9 that the milk was not enough for Hansel. I got up and saw that some milk was still remaining in the bottle. Dh said Hansel refused to drink it again.

I had to sit up and breastfeed him.

The next day morning...

While i was breastfeeding Hansel, dh was just looking at my bweast and said he didnt know breastmilk was this sweet... Huh?

He said it tastes like sugar. I asked him how he knew. He said he sipped it yesterday after Hansel refused to drink again

How person husband go dey drink e wife breastmilk?

I just weak! Nothing wey person nor go see for this motherhood journey. Lol

My breast milk drops like a fountain. E don wet my cloth finish sef. When i tried expressing the milk, i expressed 120mls under minutes. And he drank it.

Its not even me. Once Hansel makes any sound, mil will say oya get up and breastfeed him. Not caring to find out if there are other reasons behind his cries. If i want to even play with him, mil will say its not play he needs. Feed him.
I'm not a fan of EBF as a do or die but in my own case, my bmilk is flowing well. Maybe na drum dey Hansel belle.

See, I no dey carry Bobbie matter play o! Me and my Boo don even sign undertaken say after we born our 7 childrens finish, she go travel go yonder go meet Doctor make them do alignment and wheel balancing for her bobbie make e set back.

Any pikin wey carry my Bobbie play, I fit disown am on the spot.

Ask for the matter of sleeping on the same bed with us, that one is not even up for discussion.
