oglalasioux:Not just people of the old any longer. The advancement in science and technology shows that this generation is unarguably keying into the realities of the laws of nature especially in the western world. Unfortunately, the concepts of hell, heaven, sin, devil, and god has beclouded whatever scientific ambition we may have in Africa. We are so much focused on avoiding hell and going to heaven that we've lost all thought of "how do our men of god access the powers with which they perform miracles?" Why don't they teach us how to access these powers but prefer that we come to them for miracles? Whatever inventions we have today have been a result of someone working very hard to understand the principles of the elements of nature, the laws governing their operations and how to use them. Only if we could get wiser! |

oglalasioux:I am actually feeling really happy that there are real intellectuals who believe in God and scientific postulations. In my little I believe that God exists but he made creations and a corresponding law to govern it's existence. Left to us blacks we believe that eclipse of the moon is sign from heaven that something is wrong somewhere whereas it's just heavenly bodies intersecting one another according to an unwritten laws that govern their rotation and revolution. My people ascribe short rainfall as a sign of too much bloodshed but fail to explain excessive rainfall. My point is many things ascribed to religion can actually be nature playing according to existing law governing it. And those we call witches and wizard can actually be people with exceptional talent to manipulate, relate or understand the forces and laws governing our existence which by the way Africans use it to harm or kill their fellow humans whereas the whites use it for innovations and make life easier (or hard as the case maybe). This and many examples I have but my point is clearly stated that Even though God created everything,He made laws to govern their operations. That's my little believe. |

janefarms2015:There is a power controlling the universe. You call it god. Others call it whatever they like. The truth is simple... There are certain laws you need to master and apply appropriately before you can access this power (god). We live only in our material world and often neglect the astral and mental worlds which are our real existence. There's no need to be confused. Just believe in your god but you need to go beyond the mere heaven/hell god/devil fantasy and focus on understanding the higher realms of existence. That is.. . You need to look beyond religion and dig into your spirituality. It's the plane where you can take charge of your existence, command angels, commune with the etheric element(god), see into the future, and every other thing which we consider miracles. |

ehikwe22:You believed it subconsciously even as you claim you didn't believe it. Like an atheist or scientist saying ''there's intelligence in nature'' but he don't believe in God. |

9jatatafo:Where did you learn about the notion of dark forces? Most certainly, religion tells you that there are dark forces. History has it that what religion have succeed in doing is to use state power to control other belief systems. Organized religion created the devil to suit their narrative of evil practice by other old religions. In the last century, the truth has slowly but steadily surfaced. Don't get me wrong, every belief system have got people who practice with the "left hand."The concept of devil appeared first in religious doctrines and books, but the truth is that there was never anything of such. Nature, the universe might appear to be chaotic to the mundane and non practitioners but with understanding and learning one is able to see the balance and orderliness in the universe. Magic and sorcery is not controlled by dark force. The magician is adept in his craft. To put it in the simplest way; his practice could be likened to a researcher who is out to test a theory. In the process of performing magic / sorcerer, the specialist has developed an intuitive reasoning different from the logical pattern of ordinary people. He generates hypothesis and finds ways to falsify them if needed in the course of his "experimental" practice. Other than empirical evidence which have been the bases of science, the magician goes far and beyond to question some rejected hypothesis. He adds ad hocs and questions the method which was used to refute the hypothesis. He can perceive when events are a function of his actions and he knows these patterns. Magics know when events are coincidence because they watch for specific patterns in their practice. Magic is understanding that the universe is interconnected. There is constant interaction at the subatomic level of existence. This is where science ends and the beginning of another reasoning. How does an object move without touch, how do people see without physical sight etc? ' |

lonelydora:Interestingly if we accept the theory of voices travelling out in all directions in space then scientifically this makes sense. The mother is primed to breast feed as a feedback mechanism within her brain produces milk in response to either the sucking child or crying child to provide succor. Is it possible that this same motherly instinct is primed to hear at a sub atomic level and frequency the very voice of her child far away? Food for thought. |

ehikwe22:Someone's truth is another man's fiction. Is the world now "scientifically" proven to be 5000 years old or has mankind being "scientifically" proven to be from Adam and Eve from a rib bone? I had to ask because I read "scientifically". |

well.. I don't believe in such.. as a matter of fact.. I believe that what people call superstition is a coincidental act.. maybe. something happened out of chance and repeated.. itself.. people just say it's superstition.. and then worship it as gods.. #bullsit :-/ # babies shouldn't look in the mirror #don't wash your face with the water used on a dogs face #when you sneeze .. someone called your name from some where.. #if you write a list of things to dream about.. and place it under your pillow.. you'll actually see them in your dreams. #if you sleep facing upwards. you'll die #if you say things in the night outside.. ghosts will steal your voice.. puhahaha.. I hear.. #in Bihari's voice.. # not our Presido shaa |

sonnie10:You get the drift buddy. Understanding the concept of good and evil is really very difficult. I usually tell people that there's no such thing as "good" or "evil". Both are mere human conceptions. For every element of the existence of the universe namely : Air, water, fire and earth; there exist a positive and a negative pole (just like a magnet or an electric dipole). The negative pole doesn't necessarily mean the evil end, just as a woman doesn't necessarily mean the bad end of a man. (note that nature made two opposite poles of humanity : male and female). To understand this, you need to know that water can save as well as kill. So it is with air and fire. Do we then say that these elements are evil? No! Do we classify them as good? Again no! Is killing even evil? The answer is no! Neither is it just good! (someone will say at this point that this dude is crazy) , but that's the truth! Understanding the interconnectedness among the material (physical) ,the mental and the astral planes of existence is the key to understanding the concept of the etheric principle (god). |

no gainsaying that metaphysical phenomena could connote to physical science, hence be decipherable. understand that these powers has being inherent in the black man for ages, we blacks live by superstitions, powers that would take eternity to be demystified. science is a waste of time, spirituality is the way out. oglalasioux: |
