Yes, PDP and APC are foreign parties with the interest of other groups. You know recently PDP already ceded the Presidency slot to the North lol.

The truth is as it stands, the IPOB youth have more sense than any of the current leaders of Eastern extraction, and the their people at large. Those youths realize that nothing is going to ever change as long as the East remains in the zoo. The only thing that could change may be the death total each year of Easterners/christians killed without any justice brought out.

Last year the good people of Abia state, after having 16 years of misrule by Orji Kalu the thief and Theo Orji the cultist, voted for APGA (Otti). Even at that, Theo and Pdp stormed Inec office and the next thing his candidate (Ikpeazu who is still having electoral issues) is announced victor. Shortly the INEC office is burnt and the rest is history.

You could make the argument that APGA has actually been winning in many positions in the East, perhaps even against Amaechi in 2011 (Omehia came in 2nd abi?) but guess what, the powers that be discard that and write in whoever they want, and nothing happens. Even Rochas that won as APGA has since left what he coined a "regional" party to join other "regional parties", effectively putting APGA ( a party divided thanks to Umeh's desire to serve for 8 years as chairman after stealing it from Okorie) on life support.

So, its a sad situation for a people once considered the heroes

okorocha is a sad case indeed.
He could have built on his popularity in the north with a strong eastern base. He had it all and he threw it all away.
He already has northern support, all that was left was for him to govern imo state under the APGA platform judiciously, build APGA to become a formidable regional party in view of becoming a national party, then maybe peacefully and quietly decamp to any northern party after eight years as governor with northern and SE/SS support powering him to the presidency.
He could have been a reincarnation of zik. But no, he had to be a traitor. paving the way for historically political inferiors in the south to take over national politics.
