@all the gurus in the house, is it posible to extract software from a decoder to flash drive, i mean if u have a decoder that has patch software can u extract it to a flash drive.

yea cos it is possible/some receivers will will backup everything including channel list/settings/firmware/patch/etc!then can transfer to another receiver using same firmware!

i installed 1.8m dish pointing on sport 24 HD, with srt 4955 HD, i got signal strenght 64% and quality 80% still the the picture of MTN package freezes and AFN and NTA are stable, am planning to change the decoder to D-Sat DX9800 cos it is powervu enabled, but the seller is refused to give me the patch software, pls anyone with the patch software of D-Sat DX9800 should send it to me via Email graphicicon8@gmail.com
