It slows down the system because it utilizes most of the systems RAM, cracked games you enjoy on windows 7 will not work on windows 10, my verdict maintain what you currently have and if you need windows 10 buy a laptop with modern board of 1 slot for RAM the 8gig RAM and above.

I noticed startup is slow, but apps runs smooth and fast maybe because my laptop has 6gb RAM.

Still working on speeding up the boot time.

Well, i think the Windows 10 upgrade assistant is suppose to pop-up if your connected to the internet, thats how i came about mine.... but if yours hasn't, then i think you'll have to download the ISO by yourself.... These guys could guide you.

You misunderstood me, startup does not use 2gb of RAM to boot up, I suspect there is a setting that is causing the bottle neck.

That means your laptop didnt come with bluetooth, its only those that theirs came with bluetooth that would see it..

6hours to 3 hours and not even 4hours, that's too poor. Well i guess this should be fixed in subsequent Update. You should always activate your battery saver and deactivate Cortana by switching off your location and possibly other background softwares and see if there will be any improvement.

I got this Win 10 update notification since mid may dis year and i have been reluctant to update it due to slow Wifi and compactibility issue. But d main reason i never upgraded was wen a friend of mine did an upgrade to Win 10, the graphics was expanded than the usual nd my own pc is Dell inspirion N5050. I Dnt even think it will work for me.

Go to Microsoft website and click on Windows 10 upgrade where you will download an ISO file which you will have run and your journey to Windows 10 will begin.
