Of course, that's their way, selective deafness. Nobody with a brain takes them serious na. Even that one that is on the fifth husband and sucking the schlongs of teenagers is here talking. Tufiakwa.

Moving on, that guy needs to be lashed at the village square. If you could wait years to slap the woman around, you can wait a few more to fucck her up properly. Arranging a "random" hit-and-run that would leave her crippled should prove more than sufficient.

For some reason (which I am completely aware of), these women will readily believe that someone will just disembark from a plane and without warning go on to beat his wife thoroughly RIGHT THERE IN THE AIRPORT WHERE THERE IS SECURITY... but they do not believe a topic about a repentant woman's pride/ego and how a women shouldn't always listen to advise given by their friends regarding marriage. cheesy

I'm not even going to call this story fake, but I'm just wondering which of the two stories seem more like something that would happen on a normal day.
I noticed it too. There seems to be a lot of bias in this section..

Yes, I believe so. One has no idea how lawless Nigeria is. Case in point: I boarded a plane at Heathrow and everyone queued up in an orderly manner to pass Immigration and final boarding. 6 hours later, those same people landed at Muritala Mohammed Airport and started jostling and fighting each other for space on the Immigration queue, to the point that one man loudly declared "I will slap you this woman! You don't have husband to give you training!" And the woman replied others "don't mind him!" And people had to step in and defuse the situation. Same people, different countries.

What stopped this man from tabling his grievance in the privacy of his house, with his family and her family there? Let the issue be sorted out properly. Instead he beat her in public. If that wife has a U.S. passport, she can still mess him up o. He won't be the first that had a wife who nursed a grudge and went back home to finish what he started. Violence has never solved anything in the long run.
Fine, I agree he wasnt civilized in his approach.
I'm glad your example also included a woman acting in an unruly behaviour. You will agree that its actually possible the woman of that husband actually misused her powers in U.S hence the man's annoyance , so much so that some offered to continue beating the wife for him while others told him to forgive and forget. No one absolved the woman from wrongdoing. The woman herself did not deny the allegations but in fact was remorseful.

A lot of ladies go over there to the US and with thier newfound freedom and "rights", behave very badly. They frustrate the men who worked an arm and a limb to get them there in the first place. The men feel that they have done their all for this woman, the least she can do is show gratitude, loyalty and respect. When the woman decides instead to take advantage of the situation and humiliate the man then u can be rest assured the man will seek his own pound of flesh when he has the chance.

One does not shoot his foot trying to cure a nail infection. This guy did. If his wife documents her bruises, goes to the U.S. embassy, files a police report and gets a restraining order and makes it public, he can kiss a lot of his life in the U.S. goodbye. Unless he's a blue collar worker. Even multinationals in Nigeria are beginning to act once a domestic charge has been filed (at the next evaluations, someone will be found "wanting" ). And have you ever gone to another country or lived there? It takes 2 to survive so what it this "after all he has done for her", did she get there, hit the couch, Amazon, the mall and the remote control whilst he slaved away? Do you realise a lot of Nigerian women become nurses just to support their husnands as he tries to establish himself? And Nursing is a strenuous career anywhere in the world. Relocation is a two-man job. Marriage and building a successful life is a two-man job. No party should get more applause than the other because they need each other. She was not right, but he humiliated himself: if I were there and i saw him elsewhere, I'd nudge everyone and tell them "that's that aggressive man we saw beating his wife at the airport". And everyone will call him a bush animal and village monkey and say this is why we can't have nice things. it's only people from poor backgrounds that accept such behaviour as normal. Like my dad would say: "you fight the danfo driver, fight at a wedding for souvenirs, fight the next person for your share when a politician throws change in the air, fight your wife because dinner isn't ready, fight the landlord. No-one can blame you, you are merely living out what your social status demands of you".

Try not to join the crowd here and follow sensible adults like Thorpido. There was a line you wrote I was going to address, but the answer would upset a lot of people.

This is what we're saying, why can't you pass across your opinion without being insultivehuh

Why do you believe that every problem should be solved with violencehuh

This is the problem with most of us Nigerians, we don't believe in decorum.

Instead of that man disgracing himself publicly like that, why didn't he let the wife be aware of her atrocities while in the USAhuh

If the man is not a beast, why will he wait to get to a lawless country before physically abusing the womanhuh

If he didn't have any skeleton I. his cupboard, why was he afraid of the USA policemenhuh

From all indications, it's obvious you possess the same traits with the man described here, because you didn't insult me for fear of being banned.

My advice..... turn a new leaf.

I'm not interested in joining any crowd or thorpido or whatever cliques u guys have going on here. I'll make my own assertions and come to my own conclusions, thank you very much.

And yes I have gone to "another country" and have relatives living there still. I know nursing is very lucrative and a lot of women use that as thier first choice to contribute to the upkeep of the house. I also know the sacrifices the men make to get thier wives into nursing school in the first place.

Nobody knows the full story, neither do you. I doubt any sane man would get frustrated with his wife if she was well behaved and contributed to upkeep and was responsible. I am not supporting his actions in any way but at the same time I am aware there are some things our women do over there that can drive a man crazy, even to the point of murder. That's my point.

I am not aware I wrote anything outrageous in my post , if u think I did then feel free to point it out.

Dude, you act like you are part of a clique. Which is why I mentioned you should try and listen to the person I assume isn't playing any sides here. Because all of them here in this section, I'm convinced they are all sending nudes to each other on pm grin

There is no such thing as a sane person. Your definition of sane and mine won't match the guy's defintion down the street. Stvpidity, however, is letting someone push you to the point where you throw your life away. If the husband had kept quiet for so long, nothing stopped him from handling this is a manner not calculated to get an Assault and Domestic Violence charge slapped on his forehead. There is no plea bargain like "she pushed me to it, your honour".

And I'm going to leave things there.

The wife may have been treating him bad in the US but his action was stupid anyway. If you are in a marriage and you are getting abused by your spouse, physically or emotionally, then you need to ask yourself if it's worth staying in the union.

You quit the marriage and move on with your life rather than wait to travel back to Nigeria so you can beat up your spouse. The man has gone back to the US and he's obviously not a smart man.The wife will find her way back there and she can make him pay for this.
Re: Was He Right To Have Done This? by raumdeuter: 5:43am On Jul 28, 2016
The story is fake.

You think if you seize someones passport you have denied them entry into the US? So what happens if her bag was stolen with her documents?

All she has to do is go to the embassy and all her rights whether greencard or citizenship would be restored asap.

This story is fake
Re: Was He Right To Have Done This? by cococandy(f): 7:23am On Jul 28, 2016
That's the kind of stories they cook up for retardz on this forum to believe. If we lived in Togo we would think USA is a country where a man can go to jail for arguing with his wife. While the truth is that the beastly ones only feel oppressed because there's no room for them to act like beasts without consequences.

eyinjuege:
Pray tell, why would he be thrown to jail in the USA if he argues with his wife?

Provided he doesn't assault her, he won't be thrown into jail.

If the wife assaulted him and he called the cops, she would be thrown into jail.

Is his grouse the fact that he couldn't beat his wife in the US?

Why is there a need for him to beat his wife? If she's verbally abusive, can't he walk away? If she physically assaulted him can't he call the police?

Does he really think violence should be the solution in a marriage?

I'm still trying to understand the message, as all I can garner from this is that the man is physically abusive and his wife and kids are at risk of domestic violence

Do women in the US have more rights and privileges than those in Nigeria?

If a woman and her husband have even a minor disagreement at home, can the wife call the police and tell them to come remove her husband from the home because she doesn't feel safe, and they will do so first to ensure her safety before even listening to his side of the story?

Have women been known to send thier husbands out in the cold by using this method, just to be mean to them, just because they can?

Once again, I reiterate the man was wrong to behave in such an uncivilized manner. But is it possible the woman has her own faults and actually did "misbehave" when they were in the US?

well Nigeria is a lawless country. So don't even compare. Living in a place where you're respected as a human being and treated equally doesn't equate to having 'powers'. It just means things are normal. That people are normal. And that simply courtesy, respect and fairness is not asking for too much.
