Bro, it's not easy to settle down o. Please consider below:

i. Is the job a permanent one?
ii. Is your spouse employed too?
iii. Are you living in a less populated state e.g. Kogi, Kwara etc where cost of living is moderate if not low?

If your answers to these questions is yes, then you can settle down with #50k/month.

I base in Lagos and even earn more than you but can't settle because cost of living here is extremely high.

In all, pray before you take this decision.

It isn't so much about being financially stable before getting married. It's about knowing your partner enough and vice-versa and coming to a common agreement that finance and the Relationahip is a joint effort.

As salary goes up, lifestyles tend to do the same. And on the flip side, you might be earning heaps but if you can't adjust your lifestyle to accommodate someone else, you are not ready.

Being a Man, It's a really tough call.

Having a job is enough if he is good at the job and enjoys it.

If he is not good at the job, then he will likely lose the job in the future and no longer be financially stable.

If he does not enjoy the job, then if he gets stuck in that job in order to provide for himself and his partner, he may come to resent his partner for the burden they place on him, and to resent his life for the fact that he is stuck doing a job he doesn't enjoy.

yes.. it's very possible.. Inshort nothing is impossible... all u need is a plan.. remember that saying that he who fails 2 plan.. plans 2 fail! same thing apply here.. av a friend.. that no matter d amount of money he has.. he is always broke within spaces of days... y another with a relatively low income.. always seems 2b loaded though managing his life. ..mk 1 or 2 sacrifices and it will baffle u.. how things will turn out.

The truth is No u can't settle down with it except u are gonna be single for life

because if I calculate all the expenses ull spend after settlement ull see that 50k isn't enoff for ur self alone

taking care of your wife is draining about 20% of your salary and talk more of feeding cost or home items and even when u think of having children trust me you'll be frustrated its better u chill for a year save a lot if you can save up to 2M then you can settle down because u have some thing to back u up
