Apc is still campaigning. Gej was fluctuating around 5000megawatts,Buhari promised 10,000megawatts within d 1st year if voted. Now,it has slumped to bw 0 and 3000megawatts and he's promising 6000mw as an achievement. I keep saying that it will be a miracle if this govt by 2019 returns every indices to where GEJ left them(talkless of improving on it) |

Earth2Metahuman: You mean Professor Osinbajo who made the statement is a fool? Why can't your type resist sycophancy when you see a reported speech? Joda committee said this before Buhari was inaugurated. “They were not talking about the absence of light in the house, but they were talking about the capacity to produce electricity is 12,000 megawatts out of which only 5,000 could be released. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/185471-jonathan-left-n7trillion-deficit-for-nigeria-buharis-transition-committee-chairman-joda.html |

APC should stop making fake and empty promises, because soon they will deny they never said it. Only zombies jump up at the promise of APC. They tend to forget history so soon. How many times has APC promised and failed, almost 1.5 years out of their 4years has been used for promising, an analyst was on TVC breakfast on Thursday, and he stated clearly how bad the power generation is in Nigeria, infact he stated it categorically that, if the situation goes on like this, power generation will crash totally. It's not about been optimistic about Nigeria, it's about been optimistic on substance, "TRUST BUT VERIFY" |

MadamExcellency:yawnz. Perhaps you should go and check the meaning of installed capacity. Show us the video of where osinbajo said that. You people have not been able to provide where buhari said he will make 1dollar to 1naira till today, but you lot still wail about it. Anyhoo, Nigeria doesn't have any 12k installed capacity anywhere. If there is, we would have generated more than 10000 mW in the country. |

Earth2Metahuman: you build the power plant before you supply the gas. work was ongoing for the pipe laying which was done towards the tail end of the last administration. ofcourse, you would have issues of pricing, leakages along the line & other challenges. for instance, do you supply electricity to a 'building' before you actually build the house? when breaking new grounds, there would always be challenges. GEJ played his part, its up to Buhari to pick up from there. |

ivandragon:so how long does it take to do all that? How long does it take China to build 22000 mW of electricity?. Stop deceiving yourself, there is no 12000 capacity anywhere. Fixing pipe or whatever shouldn't take 6years. |

ivandragon:it took China less down 5years to complete their biggest 22mw power plant. China generates more than 22000 mW. Where are these 12000 installed capacity? Please tell us the location. The 2000mw power station currently in Edo is at completion stage and it took less down 18months. |

Earth2Metahuman: China's largest power plant is the Three Gorges dam which generates approx. 22500mw. work started in 1994. it become 'operational' in 03/04. as at 2012, there was still work going on there. so I don't know where you got your 5 years from. do your research on the power plants built between 2010 & 2015 just as you gave me an 'assignment' on China. also, you need to understand the term 'installed' capacity. please, let's not rubbish another person's efforts out of spite. this is the same way that we were told GEJ did nothing about the rail sector, yet today we have regular train services in Lagos, Osun, IB, PH, Abj, KD, Ilorin, Jebba, Kano, Offa. |
