That was my very 1st post on the issue & I have backed it up with excerpts from 4 different newspapers - the cluelessness of the English media is a debate for another day & you are free to criticize whichever newspaper you deem fit.

You're misunderstanding me again, obviously. With his image rights etc, it's possible he could be the highest paid player at the club but i disagreed with it being due to his wage of £400k gross or £220k net because i don't believe those figures and that was what your first link (SUN) contained.

The bottom line is that Pogba (from all indications), could be our highest paid player & since you have agreed, there's no point going back & forth on this issue.

From my head easily, he played as CF against Southhampton scoring 2 goals in the league.

Martial didn't start that Liverpool game and he when he was substituted in Young was playing as winger so i doubt he was told to play on the left. He only started the move that lead to his goal from the left and it's silly to say he was played on the left due to that. If you think he was played on the left vs Liverpool and had a good game, then why didn't LVG play him on the left again vs Southhampton which was the next match? He was played as a CF vs Southhampton and he scored 2 goals there again so it's more likely LVG placed him as a CF vs Liverpool.

Telling the truth isn't really your forte.

The basic truth is he played on the wing and I just checked transfermarkt and it had him on the right wing in the Liverpool match. One thing I can't forget was his dribbling from the wing in that particular match.

That said, Van gaal probably played him as a CF in the next match because he scored a goal vs Liverpool but the subsequent matches showed that he's a lot better on the left.

The southampton match was actually the only game in the league he looked good as a CF and come to think of it, one of the goals was a moment of brilliance from him while the second goal was a stupid back pass from a Southampton's defender. None of those goals were instinctive.
