An altarnate punishment for drug convict should be adopted rather than killing them. Taking thier lives to me will not end drug trafficking.

They still have capital punishment in their laws. Not just people that peddle drugs are killed.
However, the indirect deaths drugs have caused cannot be quantified. Its the scum of the earth that peddle drugs.
How many people have died from overdose? How many people have been high and gone to commit other crimes such as murder, armed robbery? How many have been high and gone further to cause road accidents killing others?
Those that use the drugs are addicted. Addiction is a psychiatric disorder which is so difficult to treat.
Most of those who peddle these drugs don't use them.
They're also very dangerous violent cartels that would rather kill those trying to come clean than allow them.

Drug dealers should get the maximum punishment, but it's unfortunate that the maximum punishment in Indonesia is the death penalty.
I don't really support the idea of the death penalty, but Indonesian laws support it., and it's not just for drug peddling but some other crimes.

Osmane Seck is not senegalese, he is actually an ibo man who used a Senegalese passport to enter Indonesia. He was visited by a Senegalese diplomat who confirmed he is ibo Nigerian.

If that brother of his standing beside the coffin is also a ibo drug dealer in Indonesia who has not yet been caught, hand will meet him too.

To put the record straight only Titus body was cremated cos that was his wish. The remaining 3 were properly given to their people for burial. I saw fredy budimans burial according to islamic rite. My only worry is the legal system. Fredy was not found with any drug but he was put to death cos he was still coordinating drug deals even in prison. As far as am concern this is not enough reason to put him to death. They should rather blame theiir prison system that allows for such freedom. I know corruption is responsible. On Ali the pakistinian guy, that one was beating and tortured to plead guity. He sustained kidney injury while being tortured yet they wanna execute him without any evidence. Even the person that accused him later changed his statement but was not accepted by the supreme Court. Again someone who was tortured and he died in cell after implicating one of the Nigerian. He was implicated no drug was found on him. I can go on and on. Let it be on record that must of this guys were just executed at of wickedness. In a sane society they would ve been freed for lack of evidence. Now that I know the details I am proud of them even though Nigeria abandoned them. May their blood be upon their killers

there is actually an US citizen Called Frank Amado on death row for drug trafficking in Indonesia (the only one ever), and his execution will certainly come in due time. he has only been given the death penalty in 2010 and depending on the case, it can take +10yrs before all appeals are fully exhausted (The Nigerians executed recently had been on death row since 2002 and 2003). A couple of Australians were executed last yr (part of the Bali9 smuggling case) as well as a Dutch and a French. soon there will be a British pair in the next group of execution (check Lindsay Sandiford for info). there is also another French citizen expecting to get the firing squad very soon, but sadly, the most foreigners on death row for drug offences in Indonesia are Nigerians (7), followed by Chinese (5), then Malaysian (4), British/Australian/Pakistan/Zimbabwe (2 each) etc

stop being emotional, If the world lives without rules and regulations u and I cannot live in it, a country makes it clear u will b killed if u do this, u still do it, so who I to be blamed. The same bible ur quoting said the wages of sin is what? Ok why does God too warn us continously in all Holy Books to keep off sin or face the consequence eventually. will some people still listen. Abeg laws are made for reasons, these drug actions lead directly or indirectly to other people's death, homes destroyd. I am not condeming d offenders, their final judgement lies with God, but they are a direct result of their own actions.

Federal Government sending the ambassador home is not the right move in my own opinion. I think arresting offenders before the leave the shores of Nigeria is the best move we can make to save the situation. Spending 10 years in Nigerian jail with names published is better than a death sentence. A death sentence to me is just too barbaric for such an offense.

these people know abt the laws that exist in these countries now.its logical u know everything abt a country ure going into.drug traficking is death sentence in these countries-if they had valued their lives and tot abt the pains it would cause their families,they wouldnt have even ventured into it at all.no business or money is worth human life
