The solution to our problems are crystal clear : revisit the 2014 National Conference reports and begin immediate restructuring of the economic and political structures of Nigeria. Until then......

For how long are we going to be held hostage by the ND? Are we not ashamed as a country that our survival depends on oil? Another group will emerge in future causing problem here n there.
Why can't we solve this problem once and for all by restructuring this country so that all regions become responsible for themselves?
Use force? No, innocent people will die and i am not interested in blood money cos that is what it is. I am sure we will be fine without oil so why cant there be a radical shift in this country.

Very true! But they will be part of the regions that will feel the heat the most when the economy finally breaks down.
I do not agree as they get little or nothing from it as the money is shared in ABJ.

ask yourself, did the environmental degradation commence with the advent of the nda? What is the president doing with the outcome of the demands of 2014 confab? Again,DID THE ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION START WITH THE ADVENT OF THE NDA?. Two wrongs makes no right but when will the govt give a fair share to the ppl whose geese lay the golden egg? Will the development of the niger delta take forever?
ASK YOUR SELF WHO ARE VANDALISING THE SAME PIPES PRIOR TO ALL THIS! ALSO THE LAST TIME I CHECKED, AN OIL SPILLS CLEAN UP PROGRAM HAS BEING LAUNCH TO KICK OFF IN THE NIGER DELTA. Tell your self the truth, you don't cause more spills when a clean up is on the way and try justify what the NDA are presently doing, except if you're happy seeing all the leftover spills all over the place.

Boko Haram against GEJ grounded the north. People became refugees in their own place. The loss might take not less than 20 years to heal.
Ogoni spill will take 30 years. Don't know how long this will take to heal if this madness continues.... NDA just like Boko Haram is a sabotage scheme.

The Earth is ours to plough, not to Plunder!

You that know about governance.

We drill over 2million barrels of oil per day during Yar'adua and GEJ but now we are struggling to meet 1 million per day. Do you know how much Nigeria is loosing on a daily basis. It's billions of dollars. We can't even meet the 2016 budget anymore.
Am glad you know all this. But did Obama achieve all these within his 1 year in office? What GEJ didn't achieve with the militants who are from his region while he was in power for close to 6yrs.Alas PMB will achieve that within 1yr in office?

He should keep using the military approach while the Economy continue to dwindled.

During the time of Bush, we was using military system to tackle the crisis in Iran and Syria but what happened during Barrack Obama? Diplomacy and peace talk. That is how a civil and democratic government should be.

i and other niger deltans aint happy 100% with what the nda are doing..however the fg oughtta see it as a wake up call to foundamentally address the foundamental issues of the niger delta..and honestly,it hurts and angers to see yu all not ignoring that. The oil belongs to the country buh nobody talks about who has been bearing the brunts and devastating effects of oil exploration that has been on ground since 1960s... Have u ever campaigned or spoken against gas flaring? I guess u are waiting for the nda to do that for u 1st..gud day

They are doing us... It affects u n I directly and indirectly......If Niger-Delta is grounded, sentiments apart, Nigeria is grounded.

Do you know that about 70% of last Federation Account allocation for June to states and FG came from a non-oil sources. This feat was achieved at this infant stage of economic diversification from oil! What happens if we sustain this for the next 1-2 years? Nigeria can certainly do with little or no Oil - Quote me anytime!!
The time will soon come when ND states will be begging for oil production so as to derive their usual 13% to foot their burgeoning demand. We all know that it is the FG that has the sole right to explore and produce oil.

It is a pity that we Nigerians choose to act in a manner that is always counter productive to our collective well being.
