That being said, we live in an environment where some of the deadliest terrorists, herdsmen, militants, armed robbers and kidnappers in the world use camouflage to carry out heinous crimes.

I'm not in the habit of exchanging words with people online but I feel we could educate ourselves. there's a law that reserves the exclusivity of camouflage for military in Nigeria. that's why immigration, police and custom was stopped from using camouflage with effects from January 1st, 2016.... the sole reason is impersonation. can you put on a lawyer's wig if you ain't one? camouflage is a military uniform, if you're not a military personnel why putting it on?
another reason is security reason, if you remember anders bieverk (that mad man that slaughtered over 70 youths in Norway), he was dressed in full police regalia that was how he gained access to the camp with all the weapons.

I used to have this mentality until full kitted soldier was killed in a shoot out with a police on a highway... long story short, the identity of the corpse turned our to be a cultist from Edo.
