I went to the one by the tollgate and they told me I can only get fit to fly inside the airport at the port authority. It seems they only issue the fit to fly there.

Good information. They used to provide, maybe they have stopped.

If you can and there is Nigerian embassy in your state, carry your baby plus 170 dollars or 190 dollars( for same day or next day pick up) in money order ,application letter for the etc, baby passport photo, birth certificate and your flight ticket to the embassy . you really need any agent except the embassy is far from you

Babe you don't give back to this thread, only collecting! That is not the way out o... No info on what hospital where you had your baby, nothing! I'm expecting you to share your experience so others can learn.

I will just help you with this circumcision contact but endeavor to share your experience and not only collect info ! Contact Dr Amaro of West Houston Medical Centre for the circumcision. I think he charges $200

Hello Feddy, is ETC the same as obtaining Naija visa on d blue passport for the baby? I am asking cos i am abit confused, especially with the issue going on at the Nija embassy there. Pls, i'll also like to have an idea of the cost of ETC and naija visa. thanks thanks.

ETC is different from the visa; they are both alternative ways of taking your baby back to naija.

For visa, you av to mail the child's passport to the agent in Atlanta while ETC you only send details and dey send the ETC as a sheet of paper to you

I'm a first time mum and I must say I've learnt a lot from this thread.
However, it's quite stressful going to the previous posts on hospital costs and all in different states.
I would like to deliver my bundle of joy in Dallas, Texas come December by God's grace. Hence, I would like you guys to PLEASE help me with very affordable packages around there.

I'm new here so I don't understand those DM thingy..loool..won't mind sm1 explaining that as well.
Thanks very much

Chai, dearie, don't worry, baby will be here any moment. If he is CS, he really can't be in two places at once. He is human.

Unfortunately you are already in labour and the baby can come anytime. I'm guessing the midwives will take your birth.

When I went for my scheduled CS, I got there at 7am I didn't deliver till 1pm due to different emergency cases so I waited and was taking selfies grin

Oya sip Lipton take cool ya body
@ Nef dear, this is really unprofessional, waiting for scheduled cs is not same as labour pain nah. @Ij, don't worry everything will be fine.

U are not correct. It depends on state and hospital. For my last baby. I gave birth by 2am on Tuesday and left hospital by 1 pm Wednesday and was billed for one night

I had this same reasoning that it starts to count when baby arrive from what I was told but I was wrong cos I got to the hospital at 9pm ish when contractions was serz but gave birth the next day, I was surprised when I saw bill for extra day and they said 9pm-12am was one day "I was mad" bill of 1k + for just 3 hrs later paid $500 after plenty talk. So please first time mama's always ask oh don't assume!!!

Welcome!

That is the price you have to pay. If it is stressful, who do you want to search it out for u? of course, it is stressful for everyone. Type Dallas in the search bar. You will see names popping up, click on them and read thru their post. Have a jotter with pen next to use for writing. Good luck!

@ favoredgirl,

48 hours starts counting the minute you check in and by 12 midnight that day, the first 24 hours has gone. That's why people complain of being overcharged by hospital.

Finally Dr F got to me by 10.30 am today and I had my very beautiful baby 12.25 pm.weighs 3.57 kg. So I have forgiven him and hope he changes for the better.

Yippee am a FTM and am so in love with my Angel.

Congratulations.. God bless and keep her

Hello everyone!!

I feel great been here and i have really read a lot...thank you so much.
Please i really do need someone to guide me in my quest to deliver abroad.../(Houston Texas)

Firstly, i am a first time mum, and i applied for a visa for the first time in june this year and had my interview on 3rd of july i think but was refused.. my bump wasn't visible as at when i went, but i told them i was going on vacation to spend time with my brother who is in US navy before his 9month deployment but was refused... our intention was to give birth there if i had gotten it.

I just re-applied and want the interview to be in Lagos this time because my first was in ABJ and i got early september.....but the thing is my bump is very obvious and can't be concealed... i asked someone assisting me and he said i would have to conceal it otherwise it would contradict with my first application.... i am really confused.... can someone please help me and guide me on what to do.... and the steps....Thank you @justwise @firstymum and all please help a sister. God bless
