Also, u said you are gonna use 225mm headcourse and went further to say the headcourse simply means the concrete beam holding rafters and ties. I am in disarray, so u mean the headcourse is on the lintel ? Or the lintel is the head course ?

I use '' color scheme " on revit architecture. It is a tool on revit.

Head course is a concrete layer after lintel. It is done after two course of block has been layer on top of the linel

please I need the cost breakdown
setting out:number of pegs, profile boards etc..
excavation work:required depth
foundation footing:volume of concrete, cement needed, sand and gravel
substructure:no of blocks, cement, sand...
dpc:cement, sand, gravel, nylon
dpc to rooflevel.
number of footing,pillars/rods, links, needed.cement, sand and gravel needed for casting
and also reinforcement for casting lintel cemnet sand and gravel
formwork
AND ANY OTHER NECCESSARY COST
all am trying to say is say PLEASE I need a very simple breakdown and proper explanation of d analysis and cost estimate of d building.

Please, is the head course necessary in buildings? I've seen a structure (the building I presently live in) that was done without a head course. The wall plates lie directly on the topmost coaches of block. If that is a bad job, what is the likely effect it will have on the structure?

I am a recent graduate with HND in Civil Engineering, I have up to two years working experience in the construction and real estate sector and finished my NYSC last October.

I am proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drafting, Microsoft office packages, social network platforms, site supervision, quantity estimation and I can communicate orally and verbally.

I just need an opportunity to be in the industry in order to gain more experience and not to stay idle. I won't mind little financial assistance though.

What is the cement to sand mix ratio when producing a standard hollow block of 9" or 6" ?

width of strip footings = 0.675m
depth of foundation footing = 0.225m

Volume of concrete = 120 x 0.675 x 0.225 = 18.225m3
using a mix ratio of 1:3:6

part of cement = 1/9 x 18.225 x 1506/50 = 61bags ( 75bags) = N150,000

part sand = 3/9 x 18.225 x 1.6/10 = 0.972 ( 1 trip of four bucket sharp sand) = N30,000

part of gravel = 6/9 x 18.225 x 2.4/30 = 1 trip of 30tonnes 3/4 gravel = N220,000

workmanship = N60,000

Total = N460,000

Please i don't understand d estimating part I.e the 1506/50....1.6/10

number of bag of cement required to lay the blocks, assuming 50blocks /bag of cement = 30bags = N60,00

workmanship @ N60/nr = N 120,000
Total = N 412,500

Oga, how did you come about the 10 and 30 @ the bolded? Also, why did you divide the ratios by 9 instead of 10 (1+3+6)?
