Personally know a jobless man whose doors start opening when he got married. He went from one job to another before presently ending up in an oil company. He attributes his success to the wife he married. Some women bring luck to a man. God in his infinite mercy has a way of making the impossible possible....and as for His ways we don't know them

countless Yoruba youths. They even mock their Igbo counterparts for waiting till things straighten out before getting married. Thank God this advice came from a Yoruba pastor.

Any man that can not care for his family is worse than an INFIDEL !

Toke should also tell us if she can pray for one hour cos the pastor also said don't marry a lady that can't pray for one hour.

Toke Makinwa has buttressed pastor Adeboye's point that ladies should not marry men with no jobs or source of income..
Pastor Enoch Adeboye has been trending since he dished oput marriage advice warning men not to marry women who can not cook or pray for a hour .He also advised women not to marry men without jobs.

How will a man without a source of income cater for his family? I don't get the fuss about what he said. Simple logic should make everybody realize you need a job before getting married.
Marriage is not important if you can't cater for your family.

Hahaha, typical of people to pick out the laws for women to follow while hiding the ones meant for men grin grin grin

Guys sha, They will so insult Toke for making their own role public. They we're satisfied with the portion they held on to.

No one said they should marry rich men only. He said marry a man that can cater to the needs of his family. While men are to marry women who can pray and Carter to stomach infrastructure. There are prayerful wives who are good cooks that their marriages also did not last.
The point is. People took only the part he said about women and ran with it. Why did they not quote everything? Just like they pick parts of Bible and quoran that mentions how wives should behave but throw away the part that mentions how husbands should behave towards wives.
Whether he spoke the truth or not, why paint one side of what he said?

What if the lady that can't cook well nor pray for 1hr was also put there by God for the man to connect her? I have also seen and heard such stories too.
The point Tokewas making is....... Men tend to pick portions that suits them and leave out the others.

grin grin Papa gave instruction to both males and females. People dumped the male advice and ran with the female one. maybe they we're trying to create some shii knowing that women would react. But that is a bad way of dealing with such things.
who told you they dumped the fact a man should not marry a woman that cannot pray for an hour? I personally think that one actually trended more than the advise that a woman should not marry a man that cannot provide for his family. You know the bible actually stated that a Man tht cannot provide for his family is worse than an infidel.

A very sound advice. That's why after the man now got a job, marry the woman who didn't marry him cos he didn't have a job, starts misbehaving and cheating and disrespecting her, they'll call him for advice and counselling.

I wonder why they didn't counsel him when he didn't have a job. Lol.

Can she marry?

At a point every guy will be jobless.
Zuckerberg was once jobless, his wife didn't leave him
Bill Gates was once jobless, Melinda didn't leave him

Because Adeboye has seen fulltime work of collecting people's tithe and offerings abi?
Yes that true but I believe it's the girls choice, a man shouldn't put a woman in dat position, if "before" u get married n u jobless don't get married n bring in children to go through horrible times cos u are trying to be Zuckerberg or bill gates. It's the logic move to make especially in this part our world. PLS DONT MARRY, do it for the children cos if na love (it really doesn't exist) just reality.

Vice versa, a man with a Job should only marry a lady with a Job. After all the garden of Eden was not meant for Adam alone, Eve also eat from it, no wonder she plug bad apple and feed papa Adam with it sef.
But seriously, at this hard times in the country, where are the Jobs? Now all those gals who's boo no get Job na divorce be that?

Every woman knows this truth, they only ignore it when they re desperate. When they eventually get married and the reality takes over, then the truth becomes real.lets not act as if the man has said anything knew.

Why is this discussion an issue in the first place?

Pastor Adeboye and Aunty Toke haven't said anything new or strange. In fact, these tweets in my own opinion make little impact.

No man will marry a woman without a source of income.

Sadly, the tweet did not address the main issue which is "what level of income and type of job." We all have sources of income. We all have jobs. A job can be anything.

Pastor Adeboye, Toke and others should be bold enough to set and mention a benchmark level of income, and people like me would have one or two things to say.

On the current quote about stable income bla bla, I've heard that a zillion and one times. What is a stable income? If you cannot say, then you are not bold enough to defend your sayings.

This is getting out of hand we should be careful this our generation has no respect for men of integrity, but first of all why do you believe everything that comes on docile media how can pple be condemning a man that had sacrificed so much if truly he said so it's an opinion and advice simple not to be bashing him on social media, I don't go to redeemed but this generation should be careful the reason we are not like Somalia yet cause pple have been standing in the gap for us I have had enough of this talk gush!
Re: Toke Makinwa Supports Pastor Adeboye, Says Don't Marry A Man Without A Job by biggie73(m): 10:03am On Aug 03, 2016
That is tantamount to "gold digging". Let every man satisfies himself or herself. Low-minded opinion has zero-space in God's dictionary. We should let God speak for Himself to individuals.
