Mental illness can be managed well, many mentally I'll patients function well in the society but if you cannot cope or see beyond the illness then you can always end the relationship. Its not a do or die affair.

But how do you know she is a potential nut case just because her mum and brother is. No medical assessment can tell you that until she demonstrates to be one.
Every being is a potential nut case, there is a limit to which the brain can take. Even common malaria can lead to mental illness.

This is one of the problem with Nigerian. When they start noticing abnormal behaviour in an individual, they will leave the hospital for church which is not good.

Mental disorder at its early stage can be cured effectively within a short time.

You can get married to a healthy woman tomorrow, and she might become mentally derailed due to many factors. Will give u a live example.

A lady was admitted to the hospital because of her abnormal behaviour, she has being married for just 1 year.

After diagnoses, it was later found out that after she put to bed, she didn't do enough um... sit bath (when u massage d abdominal region of a lady that just put to bed)
And she had infection as a result which affected her brain that led to her abnormal behaviour.

But she was admitted on time and cured of it.

The point am trying to make is that even if the op leaves this girl because he thinks she might manifest mental disorder, there is no guarantee that the healthy girl next door is free from the same disease.

lol, I trailed religious line to portray a point of inability of most of our hospital to handle such issues do to lack of advanced medical facilities in those health centres.

Tho am unapologetic about that cox am religious too, but not a fanatic.

U see also, that woman got mentally deranged do to poor post natal attention which is avoidable if she had received the required medical treatment after birth.
