Hi all, please I need advice on this.
My gal friend just called me 2 days ago and said she is breaking up the relationship of just 7months. I was surprised and shocked. When I asked her d reason, guess what?? She said she needs to focus more on God, dats all.... I had to let go. Moreover, am not just dating her, I see her as my future wife. I noticed she has blocked me both on fb and whatsapp. This same gal has familarized herself wit my family, friends, colleagues n sampling herself every where as my gal friend n posting my pictures on fb with all praises. Am still wondering if that can be her reason or is there any other thing she is hiding from me because am still surprised at her sudden decision and action. Please what do you think that might have led to this her sudden decision?

Okay. In my opinion, It is a phase, she will get over it. If she insists then leave her be. I wonder why she does not talk to you first about stopping the things you guys do she believes pulls her away from God. And if you say NO then she can safely move on and live her life. Eh, humans. We make mistakes time after time.
Besides 7 months is too short for you to be this attached to someone. Rest your head and take this time to make plans. Things you have been putting off. Even things as simple as cleaning out your wardrobe .

If she initiate it and still feel remorse after, the only plausible reason (from experience) is that she feels the urge (uncontrollable) whenever she is with you and now she feels that the only way to stop it is to stay away from you, not necessarily that she is no longer in love.

Telling her that you would want a sexless relationship won't solve it if the urge comes from here just being with you, if you don't satisfy the urge that you unintentionally set on fire, then she will definitely find another way (self-service inclusive)

Solution :

Find out the real reason (just just God)
If it is the remorseful sex, the best way is to be empathetic, let her realize that she is not alone in the struggle, and you too can walk together through it and be an example to other Christian couples.

But if she cannot give a real reason, two things are involved, so just balance up your records book and bow out respectfully.

Forget about the rage today, she may come back and you two can still work out even in a year time
