To all who copied and pasted this from here to here, it's quite easy to do on a medium for pregnancy and childbirth. Alphahandmadien did you post it on your Facebook? Maybe you did. Well even me wey lose 7, dey find am hard to post such things, or even comment on groups such as premiee or miscarriage on Facebook. I don't even want my followers to see I am on such groups. I don't have excuse for my actions, maybe I feel like I will move on better if I don't keep the memory fresh. Even to answer those long hospital investigation during ANC registration dey hard me.

I can understand your hesitation. And Yes, this is currently on my facebook wall. I dont post often on facebook or even share stuff but i believe this is worhtwhile.
The reason i did is purely for the reason you have stated. It is a hard topic to discuss and is not usually talked about.

I know the anonymity one enjoys on this thread makes it easier for people to offload their worries and speak freely! As there are things that have been said here that many ladies here will NEVER be comfortable to say in a one to one conversation or even in a group where identities are known.

We all deal with grief and loss differently, if you decide not to talk about it , that is absolutely fine. As long as that is your own way of dealing with it and it is not silently killing you.

Some people would like to talk but have no where to vent out, and when i mean talk? Not to a pastor, or random aunty or friend that cant even imagine your pain!.

Some couples that have expeierenced loss, dont even talk about it with each other Each dealing with it his or her own way that i feel is not the way to heal. you made the baby as a couple and you need eachother to deal with any losses as well, cos sush things can erode a marriage.

And yes our men also feel the losses, and grieve, and sometimes because it is more directly linked to the woman doesnot mean the man doesnt feel anything. You may not be there when he breaks down in tears in the car on his way home from work, or goes into the bathroom, turns on the shower and cries so no one will hear him because he needs to appear strong for you.

There are times in life that the best thing for a consoler is NOT to say "God knows best" or "it is well".

That person in pain needs a proper hug, and someone that will cry with him/ her, she needs someone that she can talk to that will know exactly what she is going through.
So my message is, you are not alone in your experiences, others are going through what you have gone through, some even worse.
If you feel you need to talk, please find someone and do so, even if it needs to be a professional grief counsellor, but also know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
