Like i said, you need to get informed. It is just that you are looking at it from the point of view of a Nigerian. Nigerians don't do things the normal way. In the U.S, lets say i wanted to launder money, a good way would be to donate part of it. Why, Because during tax season, i can claim donated funds 100%. Meaning the government would refund the funds back to me clean.

When it comes to taxes, you can not give excuse that you donated money. You get taxed from your incomes and business dividends. You pay taxes before donating.
