I took a one-way flight ticket.

If ur visa is or exceeds 2years, den it's safer to get a one-way flight ticket. But if it's less than 2years, in ur own kindest interest, take a return flight.

Bulk of the budget determinant would be solely hinged on ur schools fees. If that is excluded, I am sure about 1mil naira would easily bring u here and make u live here for about 2/3months(even without a job).
Hence, try securing scholarships from schools or get a low-paying ones. Cheers.

Hehehehhe, yes na, u have to feed well so that when u come back home they will know that u traveled. From my rough estimate, it means u will feed with 6 million in a year. Hehehehehehe, BUHARI will probe your intention o.

Kindly note dt my budget estimate of 1mil in inclusive of ur visa applications, flight ticket(one way), and accommodation + feeding(for 2/3 months)....

In my own case.
Visa applications + documentations=22k naira
Flight ticket=300k naira (Lagos - abuja and Abuja - SK)
Dormitory + feeding for semester (4months)=$1200 (400k naira roughly wt MasterCard)

I am sure u realize dt budgets depends solely on the individual....
I hope my analysis helps...
