ancient history grin grin grin .... Bro, if my hero is clueless Wetin be PMB...... Ijiot [Thanks for the question and assumption of your god hero cluelessness. As for PMB, he is the biblical Joseph to save the land. What we are experiencing won't tarry as the Lord of host is firmly seated on the throne to redeem our land via this new Sheriff, PMB! Na for your korokoro eyes, i go happen by the special Grace of God. Sai Baba is still clearing the mess your ijaw hat bearer of a hero caused, then later na yafun yafun, igbaladun go follow. Amen!!!!!!!

Na una been give APC bloc vote, na appreciation be deaf ear to una demands.
grin small pikin, this ASUU strike ish has nothing to do with political parties it affects each and everyone irrespective of political affiliation, and perhaps there were numerous strikes during PDP reign from 1999-2015 ranging from ASUU, SANUU, NASUU, NUPENG, PENGASON, CIVIL SERVANT, RESIDENTS DUCTORS, NCAA, ELECTRICITY WORKERS,.... The list is endless but then you were being spone fed by your mummy so you probably wouldn't notice any of such strikes happening then.
And perhaps this intending strike was due to the agreement reached during PDP regime since 1999.
See how you just they make me vexed because of the more than 1year i stay for hours during those strikes.

ASUU always go on strike for the fun of it....cos at the end of their strike action, nothing really tangible comes out of it.
Now, ASUU as a body is yet to know that not every matters can be resolved only by embarking on strike.....

How can ASUU demand that FG funds state universities? Do state governments fund federal universities in their respective localities? This is why one is tempted to think that ASUU's demands are misplaced priorities at times. These same state universities lecturers earn ore than their FG colleagues through hazard allowance of 30k/month, which is not being paid in federal universities. Aside this, state university lecturers are at liberty to sell books and hand-outs to students, whereas this is not the case in FG universities. The IGR of most state universities is fat enough to pay staff salaries, whereas federal can not boast of the same since the schools are heavily subsidized by the FG. The contrast between state and federal universities in terms of ownership, IGR and administration makes ASUU's demands unrealistic and senseless, in my own opinion. Why should I, as an employer, take care of some other people's employees, while my own employees are even less taken care of?

Should FG yield to this senseless demand, they can as well start preparing to start funding state secondary schools, state media houses, state hospitals like they do for those owned by FG.

ASUU should make sensible demands, abeg.
If ASUU does not demand for extra funding for state universities.....most of them would be forced to

1.Raise fees to meet funding demands.

2.Raise taxes in the state to fund education adequately.

That is why ASUU is asking for that.

So...it is either FG pays extra...or state universities will end up with fees of N500000 and above. Your choice.

The next generation of Nigerian Lecturers are in Asia and Europe studying because of ASUU strike in a few years time they will be back to share the knowledge, some made positive impart in their area of interest. If ASUU did not fight for TEFUND used for sponsoring this set of people current technology will keep on eluding anyone that cannot study abroad. So ASUU strike is a win situation for the students and country. If this money were left in the system one fantastically corrupt politician would have take the money for self.

ASUU demands are endless
Are they unnecessary demands? See the way advanced nations invest in education and you will weep for Nigeria. Our education system is outdated and obsolete. its a pity that those who schooled in public schools before the 90's had better education than what we have now. is that not retrogression?

Any government which is not serious about education is not serious at all.
