Mamacajah Qatar airways is having a sales promo to ATL and even at that it's still pricey, check the Qatar airways website on your desktop, Etihad is equally having a sales atm but they don't fly to atl
Thanks chloe, this seems to be the cheapest so far. Although DH wants a flight with less waiting time as it would be 4 people coming back and he wants to reduce stress as much as possible. I appreciate your response... here's a kiss and hug from me. kiss.

I would appreciate feedbacks on people who have used qatar recently as a family who just came back with emirates gave a bad feedback on their dubai accommodation return and the customer service received. Thanks all.

Hello All.
First time posting here, however, i have been in reading mode for a while. Got into Houston a week ago.
I have a B1/B2 Visa expiring nxt year and used it for vacation before. Did the notification email and got the normal response. So here goes my POE Interview.

CBP: Hello
Me: Hi .... *Tired face and voice
CBP: Can i have your landing card
* hands it over to him
CBP: what kind of food stuff do you have
Me: Nigerian foods, cereal, dried fish Rice
CBP: okay. Who stays at this address
Me:Friend of the Family
CBP: How long are you staying this time
Me: 8 weeks. I'm here to have my baby.
CBP: oh! I see. Do you have money to cover your bills
Me. Yes I do. Asks me to show him the cash 8k and i showed him but he didn't count it.
Then he stamps me in for 6 months and tells me to ensure i pay my bills and not take any form of insurance all in less than 3 minutes.
That was how i walked Majestically to retrieve my boxes and head to my destination.

Thank you all for this thread... you don't know how much it helps.
Cc@ justwise, Modath, nefertitiram, firstymum, Nasadiva, LadyG, Ozycy, Ajokegold etc... The list is long abeg.
P.S. Can anyone give me their experience on Soulcare and Soj Urban Living and which is most recommended . I'm using DR E.

Thank you.

Sorry for late reply. I used SOJ but I am sorry I won't recommend for personal reasons. You can give it a try if you wish, may be you will have a better experience than I did.

Good day everyone.
At 37 week 3 days on the 20th of Aug, My daughter decided she was ready. I woke up at 4am and was feeling pains like menstral cramps. Gisted with my sis till 8am. She advised we just go to d hospital, just in case it was the real thing, I was like -so if na false labour nko, northside go just slam person $1k for nothing. Lol.
To cut the long story short. We set out at 9am on the dot, 30 mins into the ride, the pain hit me like mad. I first removed my shoe and started shouting Jesus. The pain was not here o and the contractions were 5mins apart.Hospital was 20mins away.
Immediately I got to d hospital, I began to push. Before I entered labour room, baby's head was out.got to the hospital 9.52 and had my baby 10.02.It was a miraculous birth.no time for epidural.Haaaa!!!!! God is faithful. Baby is healthy. Thanks to God.

Congrats dearie. Praise God

Big congratulations to all new mamas in the house. Kisses to your LO from mua. Reading backwards might be impossible. Just came back from Isrealite journey via emirates. Houston was stress free in and out. Went with all my zero balance receipts and nobody asked for it.

Good Evening House,

I am ardent follower of this thread hopeful that my wife and I would have our baby delivered in the states.

I have called some hospitals in the US, and we have settled to go with Texas as it is way cheaper compared to other states.

I was hoping I could get honest advice on how to approach this as we have two options:

1. Apply for the visa together. Question is, what if the VO asks if we are expecting right now? Would we acknowledge or deny?
2. She alone would apply stating she is going to have the baby there and provide doctors correspondence and hospital receipts.

We have the funds available both in Naira and USD to cover the cost of the trip and we both have travel experiences.

Please do share your honest recommendations as this is our first baby and we want the best.

Thank you in advance.
Read page zero of the thread
Make use of that word you used and be honest.
Finally, how appriopriate do you think it is that we tell you a public thread that you can misrepresent since that option is open for you?

Sincerely, We don't have intentions of misrepresenting. A family friend advised to apply and give it a try. Even though we aren't strongly interested in that option. We are honest people and intend to continue to be such.

Thanks,

Thanks to everyone that congratulated me or liked my testimony.
I have another testimony. Today I got the bill from d hospital. While I was cleaning my eyes to be sure I saw well, a complementary card and a note fell from the envelop.'' Thanks for choosing north side hospital, you have a REFUND of $1,053.'' They said they'll send in d cheque next week.
I had a budget of 1300 for epidural but had no time to use it
I paid my hospital bill of $3,550 via wire transfer, form A at the rate of 292.5 and am getting a refund now that dollar rate is close to 400.
I prayer that all the mama waiting will be highly favoured and deliver healthy babies very easy. In Jesus name.
Pls north side mums that used Dr john Thomas, was your initial bill $300 before discount cos I gathered its $115 for the 2 visit in the hospital after discount.

Palm oil bath. My friend's mum gave mine a palm oil bath. I didn't watch her do it though. But personally, I don't believe the oil bath was necessary.

Congrats on d supernatural delivery u had and the testimonies so far. It is d Lord's doing and i claim it also.

The refund you r getting, is it because of the unused epidural?

My family flew Qatar a couple of weeks ago.
We were 5 in number (including the baby). Our transit period was 14 hours but we had hotel lodging sorted by Qatar.
The caveat is: if you bought the economy promo option, you won't get free lodging.
My mum and I bought the regular economy option, while DH and other child were on the promo option so they didn't get free rooms.
I requested the twin bed room and we all shared the room.
We had a free meal ticket to($300- at $100 per person)
All in all, it was a good trip.
Hope this helps.

Do you mean once you buy Qatar non promo ticket, you enjoy free lodging at Doha when going to US? This sounds too good to be true.
