Jazaka Allâh sister, being in a sect is forbidden in Islam, the prophet left us with the book of Allâh and His sunnah, and he said we should be upon what he and his companions were upon in matters of the deen.....anything other than that should be frowned at, I believe if everyone follows what I just said, there will be peace.
