Good morning everyone. Pls I need to know if dis sentence "If you have been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;" means if one has been refused a visa? I beg I no just understand. I intend paying for priority service but av been refused a uk visiting visa twice but av got a US visa. Pls help!!!

Someone asked a similar question a couple of days ago.
The answer to your question from the response was that, if you have ever been refused a visa, priority application is not allowed.

Hi Everyone,

I don come back again o. Abeg.

A quick one. Is it possible to use a newly rented apartment for the accommodation requirement? No bills yet. Just the tenancy agreement and letter from landlord granting spouse permission to live in the house. The reason for this is time. We are really pressed for time and planning to even do priority.

Another one. Is it necessary to have property inspection for a 2-bedroom house solely occupied by wife and daughter?

Property inspection not required. The rent agreement and letter from landlord is good enough to proof accommodation status (so long as all other prerequisites are meet).

@lexusgas430 thanks for ur response. I read dat same question d person asked. I was only refused a uk visiting visa and on the TLS page it wasnt stated with d oda countries. That was why I asked
"If you have been refused leave to enter the UK" does dat mean a uk visa refusal?
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by mizbee: 5:01pm On Sep 03, 2016
Lexusgs430:

No. You are free to apply using whatever format, your bank balance allows.
Priority service - Simply means more money for them and less time for you to wait to get a settlement visa decision.
WIN WIN on both fronts........ .......

@lexusgs430 am so sorry, I just came across this answer now. Thanks. smiley

The HO decision was withdrawn, then I got overturned. I resubmitted passport with call in letter to VAC 3 months ago. Since that time I don't hear nothing from them.
I did ask VAC manager, they said that the HO delay all cases like mine( who won their appeals) in this country( Morocco)i.
So any one has any idea about this problem!
Is this relates with last referendum?
And how long can this problem take?

It has nothing to do with the referendum. Your submission has to go through a process. Can take anything from one month or 12 months.

Academic certificates? For student visa or spousal visa?
Once level of accommodation only comes to play, to confirm the level and understanding of the English language.
I would submit a photocopy if I have. Also submitting an original is also not bad, simply because a copy can still be obtained if it's lost.
The originality of the document, does not waterdown the qualifications

Hi everyone

So I have some news to share,

as I recently advised that my Son was due to be born on 23rd December, well he decided to come early, and was born on 1st September at 5.10am, weighing just 1lb 4oz, he is in NICU and in the best hospital in the UK, doing very well.

I am still in shock and was in hospital for 3 nights, I had a natural labor, with no pain relief, no complications and i have named our son Jamal Abolore, since my MIL traveled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia on the day I went into labor so the name is perfect for him smiley

May God bless us on this long and rocky road, until my son can come home Amen x

All the best Hun, my little brother was born at 24 weeks and now he's 26 and over 6ft tall. Back in the 90's hospitals weren't as developed as they are now. So your son would be absolutely fine. smiley

Congrats Portsmouth, God bless and keep your little one

As I promised to come back here to share the good news.
Yessssss! The Lord has done it again. My hubby just received an email that UKVI has withdrawn the refusal decision. What a relief this is.
Thank you Lexusg for the courage you gave me to do the appeal myself. Justwise thanks so much.

For the benefit of those who has appeal or hearing, make sure you cover every ground, add loads of evidence of contacts between you, especially if refusal is about genuine subsisting relationship, I referenced caselaws of Elham Goudey, Bk turkey in our grounds of appeal, though someone said I m not allowed to use legal terms, but I used them anyway. I also included copy of IDI that Eco should have followed which he failed to assess.

Hope this helps

@euka91 has ur wife submitted her passport to TLS?
Another waiting game.....

please house, your input will be much appreciated :
My uncle who is living in England (got his citizenship) has a  financee who has  overstayed her visa in USA. He plans to marry her very soon.
Is it possible to file for her settlement visa to UK while she still in the USA or must she  leave for her home country before  he can do that.
thanks

Speaking from my lame man's experience. She is clearly in breach of her immigration conditions, and the British Government would not be seen to condone illegality.
Best to return to Nigeria and apply from her home country.

Today received this email
I don't know what do they mean, my visa only need to stamp on my passport!
Do I have to understand that they will delay it more and more and more...!
It's been now more than 3 months since I re-submit my passport to VAC to stamp visa.
Plus my passport will expire after 7 months, I don't know what do I have to do that time if I don't get my passport back before.

Thank you in advance for your response

Was/is your application straight forward or did you appeal a decision or complicated?
